Over half the population of the world cooks and heats their homes with cowpies. That's over four billion people. Using a PLA printed kitchen utensil isn't too much of a stretch in a household like that. I say it's an idea that could please half the world.by Radioman - General
I think we should impliment standards, and the 2.2 kg spool is a nice size. Also I'm for cardboard with a plastic center. I also think the manufacturer should be stamped on the spool along with specs of the material. Just my two cents.by Radioman - Printing
I design electronic circuits and use my 3d printer for making enclosures or printed circuit board mounts, or front panel faces. Needless to say, I want to have a professional print showcasing my design. But it would have to be an exceptional filament for me to shell out 40 bucks a roll.by Radioman - General

Thanks MattMoses and Pat Mcd for the advice. We have spent a lot of time looking at patent searches and can find nothing like our unit. We also are investigating Bounties. However when we do get funding we plan on using the bounty system with some of our funding for Firmware work. We have a lot of research ahead of us, but feel the endgoal is well worth it.by Radioman - General
My son and I have developed a three color printer which incorporates a special extruder. We plan to license it as complete open source. Free for anyone to use, copy, or do whatever they want with it. Even though the prototype works very good, we want to develop it further before we release it. But we need some funds to be able to do that. Would using a "Kickstarter" plan be appropiate for that?by Radioman - General
