Yes its a bed heater. Thank you for the infoby WilberMaker - General
Not sure where to put this. I am using a Wisamic silicone 120v heater for the first time. Trying to set up RRF on a Duet. The description call out the Thermistor is 100K "3950". How do I translate this over to the configuration settings? I'm looking for the "PWM Limit", "R25", "B", and "C" settings? Thanks for any helpby WilberMaker - General
Setting up my modified FolgerTec I3 with a SKR v1.3 and Marlin 2.0. Working through everything in steps and learning. Got homing and bed leveling working, but ran into a problem with the extruder fan not working. In the process of trying to reasign the pins for the fan. (also need help with that) Now when I home X the extruder stops at the endstop then when doing the slow touch will runs past theby WilberMaker - Firmware - Marlin
Why all the crickets? Were did everyone go? @iamquestar - What parts did you use for the V-slot on your X?by WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
I am running the version I got the link off the FolgerTech Wiki. It is not the latest version out there but was the one I could get bed leveling and the LCD to work. Also has auto tune for the heaters and that works wonders. Everything a Noob like me needs for now. Download it and I will share my configuration.h file. Did you load the U8glib library? I had a couple versions of Marlin do this on me. When I found the correct version the display worked without having to make any setting changes or turning anything on. QuoteACoffin Hey, is anyone else having problems with the FT 2004 LCD display? Thanks guys, after studying the first layers and lowering the temps i see a large improvement. Found some of my problem is the nozzle. When I was digging in the bed I used up all my spares. This one is making a ragged first layer. Be down till Tue waiting on Amazon.by WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
I am printing blue PLA. nozzle 210deg Bed 70deg and no cooling fan on the part. The bottom couple mm of the part is darker than the rest and is squeezed out like the part is melting. Printing on blue tape and it is almost impossible to get the part off the bed when complete. Is it a bed temp problem, nozzle offset or first layer settings? Can not seem to find the right combination. Rest of the paby WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
@ iamquestar - While back do I remember correctly you were waiting on a 120V heated bed, or was that someone else? Jbed?ust ordered parts to go up to a 200mm x 300m bed. With the parts I take out of the FT I also want to increase Z as much as I can. Any recommendations on a bed? WilberMakerby WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants

Got my lead screws installed. Having a problem with the steps. Seems that if I raise the x axis 40mm it is actually moving around 10mm. This would say the steps are to low, But when I level the bed and set the offset the nozzle will dig into the bed. Below is my setting for steps. Am I missing something else or is it possible I am binding on the leads and missing steps on the steppers. #defineby WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
Is there a better 8" bearing to use than the LM8UU linear bearings. The ones from Folger Tech seem cheep and are rough. When replacing the Z I lose several ball out of them and would like to go back with something better.by WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
Thanks again guys. Your right. AlI the jacking around I did with the BLTouch I must of fried the board. Have a USB port on the power strip on the bench. Plugged into that and it boots up. Doing a major overhaul on the printer tonight. Have a new Ramps 1.4 and a Arduino compatible board to put on it. Should be fun.by WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
I have been using my LCD display just to read temps and time remaining. Now I am wanting to free up my laptop during long prints. I have a formatted SD card in the slot but the printer will not boot or run if I disconnect the USB cable from my laptop. I have loaded the u8glib library and the display seems to be working. Found it. First miss informed by my daughter, I is a "Thermal Runaway" error not "Thermal Breakdown". Sorry about that. Got it to do it again while testing. Seems that I just mounted a new radial type cooling fan on the print head and after checking looks like the fan blows out at an angle. Not straight out of the opening like I was thinking. At the angle it is blowing directly on the hot end. Frby WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants

nkuck - were you answering my question or someone else? I have worked out all my homing and leveling issues. Took me quite a while but been working flawless now. I'm just having problems loading filament now. Going to take it apart when I get home. I had the G29 making Z go up issues. Can I help? I was changing filament last night and when I was inserting the new filament it will not go down to the tip. Will not go in far enough to melt the tip. Is this how a tip clogs or something else? Going to work on it tonight and see what I can find. Looking on Amazon at replacement tips. I know I want .4mm but is there a style brand I'm looking for?by WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants

I have got the inductive sensor working and bed leveling.Yea! The limits are working in all directions when homing. Even when I try to send it off the bed with G-Codes the endstops and software stop thehead . However, sometimes while printing it will try to run off the bed in the y direction. Even though it is hitting the mechanical endstop. Is it reading a bed size from somewhere else?by WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
Keary123 - Steps work in everything but G1. Tired of beating the file up, I'm going to abort this version. I downloaded your version of Marlin going to mod that file tonightby WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
Thanks for the help guys. Only had a little time to play with it yesterday. The head will still not go to bed center for homing Z. Strange thing is when I give it (G1 x100) the head moves very slow with funny sound and only travels about half the distance. the display shows x at 100 but it is not in center. Same thing happens with Y. However, it will home Z in this position. The printer display tby WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
@ Keary123 - Yes, it would be a big help to see your files. Thank You. @ DaveA - Thanks, I have SAFE_HOMING uncommitted but it still wants to home Z in the 0,0 position. I have set the X_MIN_POS and X_MAX_POS at 0 and 200 (bed size) and set the probe offset at -30 and -20. What else is controlling it? I was thinking that maybe I am not updating the EEPROM so I ran clear EEPROM before reloadinby WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants
I am trying to install a Inductive sensor on my printer. The sensor is working. If I put the head in the center of the bed and do a normal Z home it works like a regular endstop. Problem comes when I try a G28 it Homes X and W normal then trys to home Z with the sensor hanging off the bed. What settings do I change to get it to home Z in the center of the bed?by WilberMaker - Prusa i3 and variants

Mach is correct. However I have had the same problem with the X just bumping a little and not homing in some versions of Marlin. Still have not figured out what is different on some of the versions. I was wondering if the X might be plugged into the wrong set of pins. Manual is very confusing about the connection and newer versions of Marlin move the pins over a row.
