Quotedlc60 Actually, Simplify3D does have tool offsets. Look in the "g-code" tab. I think that its better to set it up in the firmware though, less likely to forget it. DLC Many thanks!! It works!!by vladoff - Printing
Thank you for your suggestion. I am using Simplify3d and I have not seen such an option. As for the firmware, I am not familiar with it. It is about German Reprap X400. I thought the calibration was done by the supplier. I was trying dual heads printing for the first time. I noticed when I select one or another head in the machine control panel, they moved to zero position, but the zero posiby vladoff - Printing
Hi to every one, I am having a problem when I print with dual heads. The support that is printed by one of them is built not in right place but 2 mm shifted that caused overlap the layers of the main object. Can someone suggest any solution Thank you in advanceby vladoff - Printing
Hi to everyone! I am trying to print two objects sequentially (object by object) but Simplify 3D wants to print layer by layer, though I have two processes for each one ( see the pictures). Can someone tell me what is the mistake? Thanks in advance.by vladoff - General
Hi, I'm working with RepRap X400 and I have following problem: after removing the extruder for cleaning, it won't to show real temperature of the end. It shows only -20 C, and heating is not controlled. Any suggestions how to solve this issue?by vladoff - Reprappers
Quotedc42 Yes S3D generates strange gcode for the skirt (alternate very short and longer moves, with very different extrusion rates), so that behaviour is often seen. That's what I want to know. Thank you.by vladoff - General
QuotePDBeal Are you slicing with S3D by chance? I remember reading something on these forums that people noticed the skirt with S3D was not continuous, but normal printing was fine. However, I don't remember exactly where I saw that someone had figured out there was an issue with skirts and S3D. Yes, I'm using Simplify 3D. Thank you for the answer.by vladoff - General
Hi, I work with X400. I noticed that when I print a skirt, the extruder moves with breaks, then when it starts to print the main object, it prints smoothly. Is that normal?by vladoff - General
Hi to everyone, I'm a newbie in the 3d printing and I'm trying to print the figure from the picture on X400, varying the print parameters, but no success. Can anyone more experienced tell me if that is possible at all. Any advices are highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.by vladoff - General
