Yeah, endstops need to be connected in order to go both directions. make sure your directions are correct too with a test print. You might have to mirror your wires at the board level. Or you might have to swap the x and y axis motors (i had to do this because the print was backwards and upside down.by owism8 - General
Also the chat site has some experienced users who are always willing to help : @ Delta flight, I just copy past that into the gcode_small.py file? or do I create a new .py file with only that code in it? Thanksby owism8 - General
@ devijvers - I do have springs on my bed. but Im thinking of removing them. The thing which is wearing out is the plastic gear, i see it is starting to warp, i think they sent me a bad print. Techzone already sent me a replacement wood gear for the x-axis, so I might ask them to send me a replacement for this y axis. I will remove the springs after I get an alternative bed material (right now iby owism8 - General

Thanks for your input guys. Ibuilt a huxley from Techzone and I know the pains of construction, calibration in SF and all that. It is addicting indeed and an awesome experience which actually helped me land the job I have right now (I showed how technically inclined I was by showing the work I did, its a good thing to include in your resume if you can). Anyways, yes techzone was the cheapest ofby owism8 - General

They usually respond relatively quickly. Sometimes they are traveling or really busy so it might be difficult for them to respond. Kurt is the usual tech support contact, after that Kimberly, then Lambert. Since February i've come across poor quality parts within the machine, and after I reported that to them, they sent me the replacement parts without cost of shipping or anything which is eby owism8 - General

Hello all, I know I read this somewhere but forgot where and obviously did not bookmark it (bang head on wall) Could someone please help me find how to make the skeinforge gcode generation go faster? I downloaded psycho 1.6 , but it doesn't speed it up at all... Any leads are appreciated. Thanks!by owism8 - General
Yes that was copied from the wiki. So it should still work no matter what number is there? Where is the End.gcode file located? Is it skeinforge or repsnapper?by owism8 - General
I found this to be the best from the Gcodes reference from the forum: G28 X0 Y72.3 This will move X and Y back home but will leave Z where it is. I will try this out.by owism8 - General
Hello all, In the developer forum there was a post about a conductive pen. In response someone posted a link to where you can purchase it online: Id love to see how anyone here can make this work. Looking forward to some awesome results!by owism8 - General
Thats awesome. Id like to see some results from any reprappers here. I'll post this in the general area for more publicity.by owism8 - Developers
Well this is all good feedback if I am to start some sort of reprap businessby owism8 - General
Thank you for your input guys. @richrap, I couldnt find Bauhaus 93 in sketchup. Is that imported?by owism8 - General
that make sense. The font size i used is 13mm arial rounded. the extrusion width of the abs plastic is .6mm. the width of the line of the letter is 1.6mm. I guess thats cutting it close. I'll use a larger font size. Or purchase a smaller nozzle head. Whats the smallest I can buy? I know theres a limit, just don't know what that is. Thanks so much !by owism8 - General
I was told the same thing in the chatroom. But the figure i created was a 3d text so I had no choice in that. It should be closed. Do you have supports on? I downloaded netfabb and will try to repair it and see if that works.by owism8 - General
