Hi everyone! I have just finished building a rostock RepRap. Everything is set except for the extruder which am still waiting for to arrive. now, I want to test the printer by printing a circle multiple times or infinite times. Am really new to the whole GCode RepRap thing..so how do I go about doing this Thanks a lot Raiyanby raiyans - General
jep..looks correct Thanks guysby raiyans - Reprappers
anybody has any idea!!by raiyans - Reprappers
I accidentally opposed the polarity of my Megatronics board. Now it can only be powered by USB. When I connect the power supply nothing happens. Can this be fixed..has anybody been through something like this?by raiyans - Controllers
Am using pronterface, but for this you need to connect the thermistors otherwise you get error 0. I want to test my printer before I have to go through the full connections. Does anybody know a driver software which will allow me to do so. i.e. control the motors diretly from the computer. Am using Megatronics V2.0 board by the way.by raiyans - Reprappers
Issue solved..was using 5V supply which was not enough to spin the motorsby raiyans - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
IS the order of the pins of the motors also the same for the Megatroincs V2 board? I am aware that is how they are supposed to be connected in V3 so I assumed it is also the case for v2.by raiyans - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
yep..that is exactly what I did. I made sure of the coils by using the turning test. when I shorted the red and the blue, turning the motor was harder. hmmmby raiyans - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Hi everyone. I am building a rostock printer. I have bought my self a Megatronics board. I connected it to a power supply which provides a 10V voltage. I uploaded the MegatronicsTest Firmware to the board. Unplugged the USB cable and made sure that the power is provided by the power supply not the USB. The light are lighting as they should be. The motors how ever are not turning. I am using A49by raiyans - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Hey dude.. congrats on your success... do you know if i can get cad files for the printed parts?by raiyans - Delta Machines
Thanks a million Cefiar. This is exactly the answer I was looking for. Best Regrds Ryanby raiyans - Controllers
Hey guys! So I bought the Sanguinololu board. My stepper motors are rated at 2.8 volts and 1.68A. The Sanguinololu board accepts a 12 V input but in any case not lower than 7 volts. So my question is, would it be a problem if I connected the motor directly to the board or would I need to lower the voltage first. I am not sure how much the output voltage of the board will be. Thanks in Advance.by raiyans - Controllers
