Since I have re-adjusted my whole extruder I haven't had any clogged teeth on my hobbed bolt. I think it also comes down to having the idler pressing very firmly against your filament. 275º seems too hot. Please calibrate it and don't just try to work with temperatures like that, even if they are just a number which resembles a temp around 230º.by Ohmarinus - Printing
Lijkt me een mooie toevoeging aan mijn Air 2.by Ohmarinus - Dutch User Group - Archive
Is het overal even dik?by Ohmarinus - Dutch User Group - Archive
Wow, good work man, I should look more into this. What I tried was opening my drawing in FreeCAD, but maybe I should learn to draw in that program from scratch. The reason why I started to draw in SketchUp, is because I could open up another file and edit it from there so I was sure the mouth and connectors of the fan would be on the exact right spot alreadyby Ohmarinus - General
Nice one! In what software did you model it?by Ohmarinus - Look what I made!
My ABS gets better and better, every time I clean it with acetone it's a little less sticky, but then when I have printed a lot again, it's sticky as everby Ohmarinus - General
I have a fan blowing here, with a fan-duct: Another image:by Ohmarinus - General
Hi guys, I need some help. It's about this fan-outlet I'm trying to make. The problem that I'm having is that I can't get the walls to be 1mm thick. Currently created the fan in SketchUp, also tried changing it in Blender, but whichever way I try to make the thin walls thicker, it doesn't work. My fixed STL also comes out like crap through Netfab. I don't want anyone to create this for me, itby Ohmarinus - General
[*] Replacement plastic parts [*] Reprap parts [*] Mechanical prototypes And just some random interesting-looking things for friends. But for myself it's mostly functional items. I don't like un-functional stuff.by Ohmarinus - General
Hi guys, I have designed a supersimple spoolholder, it is used on the Air 2. I don't know if others have this, but on the top-back part of the machine, my version or the Air 2 has an extra threaded rod, for which I have designed a spool holder. Works like magic!! Hope you like it. ps it works supergood!!! I have designed my own filament-guide system with it Before I had my filament roll oby Ohmarinus - Look what I made!
Ha, I was actually commenting on Rhmorrison Did you ever hear of Fabster? They have a printer that works with short pieces of ABS/PLA that lock into eachother, this way you can pre-arrange a selection of colors. Also, their filament is square... Crazy!by Ohmarinus - Look what I made!
Gefeliciteerd ook!by Ohmarinus - Dutch User Group - Archive
Try to print the PLA hotter. Unlock the idler from your extruder, heat up the hotend and manually push the filament through the hotend. Try this at 200º and up to 215º with 5 degree increments. See if you are printing the PLA too cold maybe? You cannot go above 240º with your Budaschnozzle, as you could've read in the manual. What thermistor table did you select in your firmware? Are you sureby Ohmarinus - General

That thick line in the top looks like your stepper driver overheated during those last few layers. One reason may be that your Z-axis has a bit more resistance at that part, so your motors might seem to work fine, but the drag is too high on that part. Another reason can be that the power is set too low on the stepper driver and it missed steps there? Anyway, it's worth looking into. Do you havby Ohmarinus - Printing
If PLA, use a fan, if ABS, print 2 at the same time a bit away from eachother to allow cooling.by Ohmarinus - Printing
You a bot? This topic is about clear ABS, not PLA. Shameless advertisement. james luis Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > This is luis james from China , I can supply you > with PLA filament and pellet . nature works or not > .... if you need contact me nowby Ohmarinus - General
Dont want to sound rude, but this review really doesn't say anything really. You can only judge after you have been printing with itby Ohmarinus - General
I am overthinking my next Reprap, I am leaning towards nopheads Mendel90, but I would like to put in a bowden extruder.. 3mm or 1.75 better?.. 3mm is also fine by me, but I was thinking maybe the Bowden would work better with 1.75?by Ohmarinus - General
I did the same, only with ceramic wool, packed my whole heated block with the material and taped it up with Kapton. Works like a charm!by Ohmarinus - Printing
You are focussing just on that strut, but judging by the quality in the other struts, I think it's just an error that happens once. Try to print it again! It doesn't look like you have any wrong settings. Anyway, did you try playing with retraction settings? This will also minimize the strings between each pillar.by Ohmarinus - Printing
