basically order a set of bearings, and start to sourse a decent control board too. i bought a hic hic prusa type 'prescian auro' or summut..ffffff, wos off ebay, but the same machine apears on alliexspres, i.e. theres a lotta chinese sellers on both lol. they run fine when theyre running, but long-a-tivity isnt that hi. 7 spools in my case, but this particular deeler was ermmmm scambo sam oreilby munchit1 - General

google images '3d printing boards' find your board, then find the schematic/wireing diagram. then look up which ever firmware your using, probably 'marlin' take yu time on the read up.. X axis is the horizontal bars that the cariage goes left and right on. Y axis is the bed, travels towrds you and away from you Z axis is the screw bars that go up and down E0 is narmaly yur exstruder. next comby munchit1 - General

already tried those, ty though. think it is the broken 'hammer' on the exstruder. the anoyingthing is i have another extruder and was actualy set up to print the parts...as the problem started and the the breakage showed.. so, i'm now filing drilling and guestimating a new cradle to fit, then i'll try a bowden set, failing that yet another mounting plate and go back to direct drive.. when i getby munchit1 - General
is there illuminous rubber or silocone or some such filoment?by munchit1 - General
i'd get a pad, and right down everything as you go, i didnt but wish i had now. e.g. problem..cause.. etc. it can turn into a curcular chaise yu tail and after a while yu may forget little bits...that puts you back into the curcula chaise yu tail till you figure that bit out, ageeen... good luck..by munchit1 - General
oooooooooooooo darnit, i seem to have found a very plausable culpret. yu know the hammer bit on the exstruder? spring loads the wheel onto the filoment and drive wheel...ermmmm broke today, dohhhhhhh half a roll of filoment, i even cheecked the drive cog was fastened, but didnt see any fault.. so, leson to be learned, print yu own hammer or get a metal one lol!! sob! lol. least i found it.by munchit1 - General
afraid not no, i did turn up the extruder motor current just incase..no diference. (changed the speeds too..) i thought that clunk was a back wind to eleviate presure build up? edit, its a direct driveby munchit1 - General
dc42, the exstrutions runs along and then a thin miss occurrs, then continues narmaly untill another thin miss occurs, always at the same point. a gap. james, i tried preheating the bed then printing with no bed on at all, theres was a dying moment as the speeds increased towrds the end, hense the heaterbed effert, allas it isnt the power, that bit was sorted by setting pronterface to 100%printby munchit1 - General
changed the nozzle, the throte, the liner, the E steps are bob on, the slicer setting for the extrusion is spot on... tried another slicer program..exactly the same geared cog fine no funny noises at the motors, all power conections tight n nice filoment diameter checked, tried plus and minous setting that up in the relavent files done the diferent temperature thing. still runs then miss's, at thby munchit1 - General
errr yes and no... dun it over over and over and the auto 3 point bed levaling still dont work. theres a few other bits here and there that although are 'documented' they dont cover the other bit etc etc..its frustrating reading it over n over again untill yu cant see the woods for the trees, or the tree's for the woods. then of course theres always the week waiting about trying to find that oneby munchit1 - Firmware - mainstream and related support

i dont know for sure, but getting a no slip situation kind of means one slip on the G1 side will crash through your end stop or the other side? as in can it be over dun a bit having too many teeth?by munchit1 - General
thank you for that w7nv, where do i get the october version?by munchit1 - Firmware - mainstream and related support
the thin band is 2 perimeters no infill, the box is three, both are 1mm thick extrutions in a 0.8mm nozle @ 0.4mm layer heights. (i prefer 0.5mm layer heights but those gaps worsen now). i've had a very similar problem before and rectified it, buggered if i can remember what it was though.by munchit1 - General
hi paul, thank you and opoligies for the late reply, i keep not ticking the follow topic email me box.. i'm on a smoothie board now too..cant get the auto leval to work ..by munchit1 - General
can any body shed light onto this? steps coming from the right and stepping up and up, its a gap in the extrution that happens bang on cue.by munchit1 - General
in fur a penny.. i'll try the multipoint..and see if that ploughs on through the bed too.by munchit1 - Firmware - mainstream and related support
hmm i was thinking about using a votage reg..thank you for that. alas i cant get the smoothie board to do it...yet. i've kept the mecanical end stop, as it turns out it was a good job i did, but it always triggers and a M999 is called for, followed by a 30 odd second wait before it'll do anything, uit does save multiple camands in a que and does them all.by munchit1 - General
yes a M119 gives a zprobe 0 or 1, if triggered a 1. M30, operates as narmal but doesnt report any position. g32 starts, homes all axis and movves to the first position, Zaxis starts to probe and stops dead on the mecanical endstop, requires a M999 to do anything afterwoulds. after a G30 or G32, when the M999 is called and entered theres a good 30 second wait untill it does what ever command yby munchit1 - Firmware - mainstream and related support
why wont my auto bed work? find that on the org page-io... now, do you think i've read and re read and read it till im blue in the face? purple in the face???? edit...(i took 'condisending idiot' out the post, as i bought the thing based on everything you'd want to know is on that page....nearly erverything, )by munchit1 - Firmware - mainstream and related support
i hear theres a conspiracy theory on the smoothie board, its so good its become a secret, and the whole subject of setting up the features is only for the locals? may i inquire as to why? ...seriously, why is it now customary to not let people use the stuff they buy? i cant see the trend being of any use to man nu beast, but i'm obviously missing the point or summut. i've caught glimpses on heby munchit1 - Firmware - mainstream and related support
i'm having the same shit m8... no buggers telling, i think its a state secret or summink! wankers..its actualy bent the under carriage below the aluminiun bed on mine..didnt watch for a complete crash..dohhhh.by munchit1 - Firmware - mainstream and related support
hi all, i've attached a sencor for the auto bed levaling one of these types.. inductive sencer the softwares set, but, the min z mecanical end stop triggers at the same time that the sencer light goes out and stalls awaiting the M999 comand to 'councel' the mecanical end stop trigger. the voltage with the light on is 3.8v, with the sencer light off (when triggered) its 4.89v.. so, what do iby munchit1 - General
