Hi all, I ordered Prusa i3 Rework from Emotion Tech 1 months ago I have no problem with printing PLA, but when I am trying to reach my heatbed temperature to 120 C, because it does not stick to surface while printing ABS below 120C. However, it heats too slowly after 100 C. I measured the current and voltage of heatbed and it was 8.5A and 11.5V. Image of my power supply is below (It has no +5Vby bhoke - Printing
Hello all, I have just completed Prusa i3. When I try to rotate motors, they move in the desired direction. But, sometimes motors hesitate while moving (especially extruder motor) and sounds tock-tock. Do you have any idea about this? Thank for your help!by bhoke - Mechanics
Quotejbernardis These stepper drivers are very fragile. If you DID insert them backwards, they may be shot. Once you know you have a good driver, I'd go with 1 motor at a time. Do not even insert the other drivers. Get X working, then move on to Y, Z, and E. And when you are working with these drivers, always remove power - I remove both the power connector from ramps as well as the USB fromby bhoke - RAMPS Electronics
I measured it with just Arduino connected. I think board was defective at the beginning because I'm sure that I placed drivers right direction (screw side is opposite to power supply input).by bhoke - RAMPS Electronics
Hello all, When I connected the steppers and their drivers. My extruder driver fried (not sure why I think there was a problem on Ultimachine RAMPS board). Then I checked all driver pins one by one and enable pins are high although I make them low. That's why my steppers don't rotate. However when I eject RAMPS from Arduino, pin connected to X_Enable gets low (I measured 38th pin of DIGITAL piby bhoke - RAMPS Electronics
Today, I ejeceted stteper pin and measured the voltage on pins (which are 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B ) on oscilloscope. I saw 12 Voltsn DC at each of them. Is my Driver dead? or what is the problem?by bhoke - Printing
Hello all, I just built a RepRap Prusa i3 Rework. Heated bed and extruder is heated very well, but my stepper motors don't work. I connected stepper drivers that screw is the opposite side of the 12V input. How can I understand that MOSFETs and stepper drivers on the RAMPS fried or not?by bhoke - Printing
Hello all, I have Prusa-i3 rework and RAMPS board. I would like to write a program that records failed prints, sucessful prints and paused prints. My plan is to communicate with USB port by using C++(Because it has support on Microsoft website). However, I have no experience about usb controlling. Is there anyone who can help me about this subject?by bhoke - General
Yes I asked to the shop, but they answered very late. For someone who wonder the answer, both NEMA17 and arduino are included in the package.by bhoke - General
Hello all, Is there anybody order Prusa i3 kit from emotion tech ? Under the complete kit tab, it does not include NEMA 17 motors and Arduino Mega 2560. Does this kit contains of them?by bhoke - General
