your end stops are connected? If not try connecting them and try again. When I built mine I had the same problem, but then connected the endstops and it started working.

My Sanguinololu board causes the motors to hum too. Depending on the part, it sometimes sounds like a song. Maybe it's just me.

Cool, I am glad it worked. It also show that an old fart like me is actually learning from this forum.

Yes I think you would only have to change it in the configuration.h file and thee are instructions there on how to do it.

have you plugged in your endstops? From what I have found is that the Sanguinololu board needs the endstops connected in order to work, Or you have to turn them off in Sprinter.

Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
I am at the testing phase with my Prusa and pretty much calibrating and printing "air parts." When I use pronterface "printer interface" it seem to always position the part on the right rear quadrant of the print bed. Is there a way to tell the program to center the part on the bed?
Thank you in advance.

RepRap Host
I've purchased 5 stepper motors and the Budaschnozzle 1.0 with a .5 mm and 0.35 nozzles and the PTFE tubes for both 3.00 and 1.75 mm extrusion and I am very satisfied.

where are you located reifsnyderb? I Googled "Reifsnyder Precision Works" and it came up Pennsylvania. If that is the case I will surely order a hot end sometime in the near future.

For Sale
OK so my question was either really, really stupid, I came across as a jerk or or nobody has access to the newer compiled version of Openscad. I hope it was the latter. didn't meant to sound like a jerk.
Am I right in assuming that somebody will compile it and offer it up on the internet sooner or later?
I am learning a lot here by reading other threads and the search function is very useful t

HI, I am just getting started with 3D printing and in the early stages of building a Prusa Mendel. I have the frame together and my stepper motors just arrived yesterday. While I wait for my Sanguinololu board to arrive in the US from from the Netherlands, I thought I would spend time on installing and getting to "know" the software. I have installed Reprap Host, Replicator, Repsnapper, Skeinforg
