understood, my initial plan is to have a 8' cubed printing area, with 2 full reals of material as counterweight on the extruder. The guide lines i also have a plan for to move power and data on, but thats a future change.by tookys - Delta Machines
I have a plan to try and produce a B&T rap printer but im having trouble trying to modify the existing arduino firmware for the delta bot printers. I have an idea of what i need to change but i dont know enough to go about it. If somebody could help me with this itd be appreciated.by tookys - Delta Machines
Thanks jamesdanielv, I'll give that a try next chance i get. needing to fix an elecrical issue atm. Also looking more closely at the print i think the major issue is the fact that those blobs are just where the profiles start and stop for each perimeter. (see attached) there is still some other inconsistancies which i think jamesdanielv's suggestions may help with. I have figured out what waby tookys - Printing
I have been using a Airwolf 3D V5.5 printer for a while now and have made some greaqt progress on getting higher quality prints. Im wondering if anybody knows how to adress this issue that im having where the surface is rather inconsistent. The attached pic shows 3 parts and the part in the middle is the one im reffering to for needing help with. -right side- the green piece is a sample part tby tookys - Printing
80 mm slow? My .5mm nozzle runs at 60 perhaps im running it to slow myself? That is one thing ive found on the printer it is possible to go to slow lol. anyways. Back to the topic of the thread. Does anybody know of a guide to fine tune all of the advanced settings or could help in making such a guide?by tookys - Slic3r
Yeah i did much the same. Added a voltage regulator to the heater bed cause it was over heating the part. Added a polycarbonate box over the printer to keep it warm. mind sharing your .35mm settings mine keeps turning out as a jumbled mess.by tookys - Slic3r
Hello Im a relatively new user in the 3D printing community. For the last year ive been working with a Airwolf3d v5.5 printer. (I don't care for it that much the micro-controller isnt able to be expanded for a second extruder or even a fan for the original) I've managed to get the settings to the point of doing some pretty good prints. But now im at the point of wanting to try and peby tookys - Slic3r
I am currently working for a CNC manufacturing company and have been tasked with researching into 3D printing for manufacturing. We have in our possession a HAAS VF-0 CNC vertical milling center with a 4th and 5th axis. Using slic3r and notepad, I would modify the code to run directly in the CNC programming, I only need a laptop to control the hot end temperature. My plan would be to mount theby tookys - CNC Routers, Mills, and Hybrid RepRapping
I have recently recieved a Airwolf 3D printer (AW3D V .5) and have been spending the last 2 weeks trying to get the prints to come out better. The AW3D came with a set of configuration files, and .stl files to print out the parts for itself. But when i used them, it came out nothing at all like whats on the machine. I have been using the latest version of Slic3r (0.9.8) but it seems that i havby tookys - Slic3r
