VDX, wow, never seen that one before! Very cool! Are you still playing with it or? As for deltamaker, yeah, see what a bunch of degrees get you. A whole lotta ripped off work, packaged prettier to the media. Wonder why they need a software engineer? They are using repetier host? I pushed roland to get a round build volubutme displayed, z home at max, and many of the delta specific featureby johnoly99 - General

Hey Polygon, you're quite the salesman! Saw an order yesterday for 20# of resin and was wondering who/where it all went! lol Yes, you guys are right on the money. The raw pellets aren't easy to come by if you're only looking for a couple pounds. Your best bet is to find a small local injection molding shop and beg them to sell you some. We're one of those kinda shops (used to be!) but noboby johnoly99 - Developers
Well xclusive585, funny you would want a kit minus electronics, lol. We were just adding a couple options for the Rostock MAX on our website. One kit is the BYOE kit (Bring Your Own Electronics), which takes the steppers, power supply and RAMBo out of it, but gets you everything else. We also just added the BYOL kit (Bring Your Own Laser) for those who have access to a lasercutter, or want tby johnoly99 - General
Ok guys, I just woke up and saw all the activity around this! Holy cow, you all work fast! To clear the air, let me explain a bit. I've emailed a few times asking how we as a community could do to help the problem of poor performance on the site/forum/wiki and I did finally get a response from Dr. Bowyer himself. He explained that it wasn't a matter of money to throw at more bandwidth, butby johnoly99 - General

If you go into your firmware and set your Z max speed, the firmware will limit it to that. As far as slicing goes, what slicer are you using?by johnoly99 - General
Hey all. os1r1s and I have been brewing up a big get together for all the crazies out there. Calling it the Midwest RepRap Festival (MRRF) for now. It's going to be March 15-17th, here in Elkhart Indiana. We've got a huge warehouse heated, secure set for the weekend, we'll be supplying tables/chairs/power entertainment of some kind etc... Have a few ppl set to present some live braodcast vidby johnoly99 - General
We got the MAX kits now. Not a 2013 really, we'll call it a late 2012 model? Or, if it were a car, we could call it a 2014, right?by johnoly99 - General
I got in touch with the guy responsible for the forums and wiki here. Took a while, but here's what he said. We (reprap) are hosted on a server that is donated to someone who likes reprap. The trouble is bandwidth, and we need help to set up mirrored servers to help speed it up locally.by johnoly99 - General
Doug, we have 30 or so LCDs in stock, and have a huge order of 150 coming to keep us in stock over the chinese new years. The rambo adapter is being finished up by johnnyr (ultimachine) and soon as theyre available, well have some Thanks!by johnoly99 - General
We now have 1.75mm ABS in stock! Pretty good selection of colors and qty's. Ships same day if ordered by noon, next day if ordered after. More qty and colors coming soon, even new materials.by johnoly99 - For Sale
Mv, tell us a bit more about your setup. How many teeth are on your x and y pulleys, and what pitch are your z screws. RAMBo uses Marlin, as well as repetier firmware. The only thing specific to the RAMBo noard that the firmware handles differently is that in your configuration files, you need to specify motor current with a value of 0-255 ( start with 185 ) and define microsteps. Holy crap. That thing is huge! Well, overall size anyway. The build area doesnt look as big as id expect for the machines size. Still, WOW. Bet its $$$$$$$$$by johnoly99 - General
Hey akhlut. Yeah, a lamp is doable. We just added over an inch to the z with a new top plate design. So, it can now print over 14 3/4". Definately look around, and take your time deciding. Printers we be around for a long time. Also, keep in mind that all the designs of today will be old mews in a yr from now most likely. So make sure you can modify it easily if you want to keep up with the latby johnoly99 - General
Hey guys, os1r1s and I plotted and schemed a wiki page for the Rambo and LCD mods. Still needs more work, and thorough testing, but gotta start somewhere right? Fill in the blanks if you see anyby johnoly99 - General
Ah, and dual heads will allow multiple colors, or yes, support/fill material changes. Im wanting to do a second nozzle with a larger dia. for doing infill work with for instance.by johnoly99 - General
Glad i got you on here! There is more knowledge in any 3 threads on this site than you could will find anywhere else when it comes to printers. Now, i am a little biased to the MAX, duh, but i would encourage you to look around. The delta is a massive departure from the 'norm' but i cant really find any downsides yet. That said, someone will be along shortly im sure to point one out. Ok, the incby johnoly99 - General
Hey thorsteenster, John here from SeeMe with the Rostock MAX. The heated bed were shipping with at the moment is a 7*7 1/2" bed. Its all we have right now. We are waiting on a few designs to come in for testing, and we will have an 11" diameter bed available here in the next month as well as dual-extruders. The rapman kits are pretty sweet looking too. If build space is your primary interest, doby johnoly99 - General
Small wager here. $20 says that delta is working on a delt platform, and bailing on the mini. In NY, they were taking a LOT of notes. Hmmmby johnoly99 - General
Thanks Akhlut. Yes, i meant a dickbag move not from the point formlabs may be infringing on a patent, but from a point of waiting until the campaign was over. They could have said something sooner, and yes, offered a license or something. My belief is, someone copies your stuff? You better get your butt in gear and come up with something better. Mediocracy and stale technology is boring. Nowby johnoly99 - General
I really hope you weren't pluggin/unpluggin the motors or pololus while the board was powered up. If so, that's the problem, you've prob. blown the drivers. Not a big loss, $12 each, but fair warning, they're very delicate, and unpluggin while powered up is almost a guaranteed deal breaker.by johnoly99 - RAMPS Electronics
Did you install the USB driver? It's in the arduino driver folder.by johnoly99 - RAMPS Electronics
Did you just change the pins.h file? All you should have needed to do is in configuration.h change your board type to the coresponding number, for RAMPS 1.4 with a single hotend, heated bed and 1 fan is 33by johnoly99 - RAMPS Electronics
Well guys, this just sucks, So, did they not do their homework? Or is 3DS just being a bunch of dickbagsby johnoly99 - General
Hey guys, Just an FYI, still have 5 days left on indiegogo to get one of the MAX kits. We've already shipped 14 kits, and have more going out everyday. Last call to get in on the indiegogo price. Link to the campaignby johnoly99 - For Sale
Yeah, if you use the shipping calculator on our website, it's expensive. The only way to ship that large (15" square) of a package thru the site is UPS, and they are expensive! That's why I posted that for anyone wanting to order one outside the US, we can ship USPS priority, and it's only $45-50, but we will have to do a paypal invoice outside the website until I can get that set up UPDATE,by johnoly99 - For Sale
