Yep your right I missed the whole spiffs tools portion, I knew it was something silly. So now I see the interface but I am getting ajax disconnect errors, Unexpected end of input. Could this be from using the version from repetier and not your pull? If i monitor the serial port on the node I see a bunch of wait's is allby djinn5150 - Developers
Is there any reason the nodemcu This board couldn't be used for this? I have been able to load the esprinter on it via arduino IDE, set up my wifi AP and can see the printer communication through the serial. I've even sent controll commands, but what is eluding me is the actually web interface, All i see are 404's. Printer firmware is latest repetier with bluetooth serial enabled to serial 1,by djinn5150 - Developers
After reading through your config it looks like your probe height of set at 5, sends high to me but ask depends where your probe is. This value needs to be the distance the nozzle is from the bed when your probe triggers. Ignore my comments on steps those look set properly.by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Yeah you need to have eeprom on and need to set it first print also need to double your steps on x and y for the core mechanics. The zprobe needs to be a positive number as well and g32 is your autolevel commandby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Also what is your eeprom setting for z probe heightby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Hmmm post your config.h file. I been running rep for months no issues. What does m119 report?by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Ha-ha yeah I think we're pretty even, nice work on the funbot/core BTW. Are source for the funbot available anywhere?by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Pretty much, but will most likely add a fan mount and or sensor mountby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Nice job man, although I think I'm going to put a spin on it, going to turn 90deg. The extruders will be mounted similarly to your 45 angle on top of the z. So both Bowden's are the same length. The only thing that concerns me is when x is close to the top and home. So I might need to mount extruders differently.by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
I've been slicing imaged with cura and a special INI, works pretty well so farby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Yeah but only the makergeeks stuffby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
I wish I had a garage, all my stuff outside under a carport, a temporary carport/tarps lol, lil weather ain't gonna stop meby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Looks like I got more Mosfets to order along with some sort of terminal connection for the hotends, thermistors, and fans. Kinda think I want to be able to swap out my chimera for a j-head easily. Still have some testing to do on my knockoff and this makergeeks pla just hates me on the chimeraby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Second that, guessing for more stability, or he burned one out...Waiting to hear myself, where was this discussion 3 days ago when I ordered my IRF520b's for fan control, tired of the stupid relays lol, I would have orded potential replacements for the ramps instead lolby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
I should mention I am using drv8825 stepper drivers so that might have something to do with it. I wanna go vslot for strength, kinda want to get away from Bowden's with my chimeraby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
FWIW I have used them a bit, they are pretty nice after break in. They can wear fairly quickly if rods are somewhat polished but, hey they are cheap and easily replaceable. and QUIET so so quietby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Looks good man, hey your nozzles upside down...you going to make a unlimited Z Smartrap Core like the Ultimaker Unlimited Z? For noise rubber feet helped mine for sure, as well as vref adjustments, I thought I was in a sweet spot and it was loud, motors were hot all the time, turned v-ref down to .25v for mine and it quieted right up, motors never get "hot" anymore either. I am also contemplby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Well, not exactly in line with your thinking but I can tell you I adjusted down my v-ref stepper voltage to .25 which significantly reduced noise. you could place cork gasket material between the motors and the walls to further reduce sound. I'll be following to see how this plays out and your tests...by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
So what I did was generate the entire plate for the build in the sizes I want, then I used Cura to split and delete what I didnt want on a print, like I would do the whole x axis in one run, the y in another etc etc it takes a bit but once you have your sizes right your golden. Also IIRC the sizes don't account for dec so 1/2mdf 12.8mm(by demension not actuall) would just come out at 12, keepby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Not trying to be a jerky know it all but looks like you need to mirror one of those r-rod motor mounts, if your trying to print from the individual parts from the youmagine j-scad they are not included unless you run a full plate or mirror them yourself. Other then that...looks good man!!by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Change the resolution to 32 before creating your stls, They did that for quick rendering to check things then you have to update it to get good wholes, rendering time will increaseby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
I didnt have any problems, what holes are out of round?by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Anyone on Facebook and interested in joining a group for Smartrap enthusiasts? Thinking about creating one if your interested PM me Or feel free to join up at https://www.facebook.com/groups/Smartrap/by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Personally I can't speak for the the belts as I have yet to use them, but they shouldnt loose tension at any rate faster then the x/y axis, resolution on a 20t pulley should be as good as your x/y, it is definately faster then a leadscrew But I do prefer the leadscrew, its what I know, its familiar, it doesn't fall down under power failure, or if I disable steppers during a pause. If your cominby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Current thoughts are running it sideways from the left back corner, most likely the back bearing mount(thinking on a pin with a m4 both through it to replace the m8 bolt, with an end link attached that will allow it to swivel, then another custom endlink to mount to the head somehow, just not sure yet, printing chain now So i can try and visualize ith with the chain in hand then I will model someby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
Don't use the modified z in the jscad it's broken use mine in youmagine, I can get a link in a bit or just search me as designer. But I've done mostly mods, and some fun things for my kid. Soon I'll be working on some parts for my dads diy bandsaw project. Big thing I'm working on ATM is cable chain and mounts for this thing.by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
I like the threaded z I designed so far its been consistant, plus it don't fall on a power outage. For the fan I just bolted a hinged shroud up to a plate i bolted on the back side of the head, works pretty well. Yoda turned out pretty niceby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
If your running M8 threaded rod with standard steppers on 1/16th stepping it should be 2560 for your stepsby djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
YAY, let us know what you think of the belt driven Z thinking about converting.by djinn5150 - Smart_Rap
