How many probe points is configured in configure.h? It seems to be set to 1 instead of 2 or 3 (2x2 or 3x3).
It is set to 2.

So I am trying to set up auto bed leveling on my prusa i3x that is running Marlin. I printed parts to attach a servo and a micro switch to that servo and attached the assembly to my printer. I then set up the necessary information in the Marlin Configuration.h file.
When I went to run the auto bed leveling for the first time it went to the first point in the grid (x=50 y=50) and probed the bed on

I am having a similar issue. Mine is more consistent, but it is the y direction. The print just starts to slant along the y-axis. Not sure if there is a similar fix but I will watch this thread to see.
Here is a picture where you can somewhat see what I'm talking about. This is just a slight sway, but sometimes its more pronounced.
for your problem, you need to vary

So I have a Prusa i3x from DIY Tech shop. I have been trying to get my printer to work for pretty much the past month. I think I am just having trouble adjusting my firmware settings.
My specific problem is this. I print out a 20mm cube, measure it, adjust settings in the firmware, print again and the cube comes out perfect. The only problem is that when I print anything smaller than this cube (o

So changing the acceleration helped for small objects but not for larger ones. For instance, when I try printing wades large gear it messes up. It prints fine for the first 3 layers, but always on the 4th it gets misaligned usually in the y direction. I tried tightening the belt on the y-axis and turning up the power on the stepper driver. Even with these changes it still gets misaligned on the 4

So I added some ptfe tape to the threads and then sealed the outside with silicone sealant. I also tried printing at a lower temperature.
So far it is printing without any leaking.

I just recently had my hot end start leaking. To fix it I took the brass piece apart like you did, cleaned off all plastic, then removed as much plastic from the hot end threads. I then wrapped the brass hot end in 1-2 layers of PTFE plubmers tape (it's about 1.00 USD at a local hardware store). It's worth a try and better than tossing the hot end in the trash.
Yeah I tried doing

So I just got my prusa i3 up and running and got one good print out of it. On the second print though, plastic started oozing from where the brass nozzle screws into the black housing. Here is what I saw.
I just got this printer and it seems odd to have a problem like this right after getting it up and running. What could have caused this? Do I need to order a new hotend? Any help is greatly

10% into print after changing the acceleration. Looks great so far. Thanks for the help.

So I just got my prusa i3 up and running started my first test print of a cube. Everything went well for the first layer but once it moved on to the next layer the print started to slant in the y direction. Here is a picture of what happened.
Is this something wrong with the firmware or is it something physically wrong? What should I change to fix this? Any help is greatly apretiated.

Alright so this is kind of an unexpected problem. I am trying to fit my RAMPS board on the arduino mega and for some reason it will not go on all the way. There seems to be something blocking it. Here are some pictures of how far down it will go.
After further inspection it seems there is only a problem with one I/O port. The port in question is the digital port 24.
Something must have got

Rather than buy a "who knows what" from "who knows who", I'd get a name brand from a real distributor for the same price:
There are a lot of knock off supplies out there. Sometimes they work ok, sometimes not. The supply on Newegg is not begin sold by Newegg. It's an outfit called "Unique Bargains". They don't list a manufacturer, so it's a good bet it's a knock off. I've seen M

So I've been looking at buying a Prusa i3 kit. The kit I'm looking at is the Prusa i3x from diytechshop. It is about $100 cheaper than the Makerfarm i3, and I do like the look of the metal frame. Is this a good decision? Makerfarm seems far more popular. Is there a reason for this that I'm not seeing?
Also I'm a little stuck on the power supply. Why do people recommend an industrial power supply
