I got it ,maybe is the fireware can not handle the signal voltage well , when I try to make a SD CARD work with repetier ,I found that the repetier sdfat.h can not make SPI work ,but arduino original SD.h can... of course this issue happened on arduino due ,mega2560 don't have this problem . So I have reported to repetier on github , and I have try servel SPI speed ,but all fail...I have make the

good job repetier!
I hope that repetier-firmware will keep open source....so that I can make more modification for this great firmware !

Hi all
I find out what happend of this issue (I guess so ) ....The reason of lcd adapter not working is is the firmware can not handle the LCD RS signal .....LCD RS on mega2560 is working good ,but on due not woking good ,the signal seem has random noise .... I have try 3 solutions :1) make a lcd adapter with ic 74hc07 (nxp product , totally new !) 2) check the signal without RAMPS-FD ,

I would stick to a 74HC or 74AC chip. A 74LS chip running on 5V may not see 3.3V high voltage as "high", whereas a HC/AC chip should.
SO Cefiar your adapter with IC 74HC07 and working ??? if working good than I change IC. so ,would you let me know ....thanks a lot !

Hi all
I am trying making a ramps-fd lcd adapter ,bobc give us a very nice solution ,in bobc's solution ,the adapter change the logic voltage with 74HC07A .I make some change ,I use 74LS07 and 7407,and then some issue come out .... the lcd not working ...So I try to see what happened ...here is some results .
FOR arduino mega2560 smart controller adapter 2004 LCD working good ,here is th

GOOOOOOD JOB!!!cdsteinkuehler , but I do not know about the BBB...... raspberry , PCduino .BBB ,i can't tell which is better....
Well, for machine control I would say the BBB is best:
The Raspberry Pi is a nice system, but it's CPU is basically designed to be a set-top box or Blu-Ray disk player. It's great if you want to play videos, but lacks I/O and hard-

I have a quick question though, I looked at your stuff on GitHub and you have .brd files but they don't open in eagle. What software do you need to view your files? I am after a BOM to see what parts you are using.
The files are for KiCAD, an open-source PCB design package. There is a BOM file on github, but it's for the previous board, so you'll need refer to the

Hi bobc :
Now I am trying to make the lcd worked on RAMPS-FD , I have make some PCB which you design in your github , I have soiled ,I change 74HC07 to 74LS07 .is it OK to do that ? NOW MY LCD (smart controller,2004 ver and 12864 ver both) no working ....I am sure the LCD and 74LS07 is OK ,cause the RAMSP-FD and LCD working good with arduino MEGA2560 ,and I have checke the IO D16 D17 D23

yeah , After reading a long long long codes and papers ,and I find the same code which you just mentioned , and i also find the code for tuga.I am starting get the logic of hold repetier now . Now I am trying read the source code of delta robot (someone call that pick and peek). I am using arduino due 32bit MCU,I thing that is OK for trigonometric functions .

As we know Repetier firmware has already support delta coordinates e.g rostock , kossel ,But I find out an another delta robot like this : . That seem to be pretty cool to turn it into a 3D printer.And now I am thinking to make the repetier firmware support this kind of delta ,I would like to ask which function to calculate the delta segment convert to motor steps ... and i am working hard on g

I have finished testing , yeah! the borad seem working good with bobc ' firmware .After compare IRF3205 and IRBL8743 .Maybe add a 74hc04 in order to invert the logic level is a good idea .

I think that the short board now is printer firmware . The popular 3D printer firmwares do not support 32bit MCU well .Now only repetier and aprinter support normal coordinate , delta coordinate and coreXY coordinate and 32bit MCU . For delta coordinate ,firmwre need interpolation, so 32bit MCU is so hunger ,and I am working hard on it.
can People can develop firmware for ardino due and DUET

Yeah ,that's great ! I will try it tonight .
Geeetech use IRF3205 instead of IRLB8743PBF which bobc use in issueB , I checked the datasheet of two MOSFET .
For IRF3205 Vgs = 3.3V Ids is around 6A or less (see the picture above)
For IRL8743PBF Vgs = 3.3 Ids is around 20A or above
And I have check the current of my little j-head ,is 2A ,that mean THEORETICALLY direct driver is work f

Hi bobc :
I got one RAMPS-FD from www.geeetech.com ,and also I get a copy of schematic from github ,when I try to testing repetier-frimware and finished some code-moding ,I found that geeetch.com use V1 issueA schematic which has lots of changes from issueB ,So would you pls send me a copy of issue A schematic? THX a lot!
And I have finished testing them0~3 ,all endstop . Now I

#define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {62.1127, 62.0591, 2566.85, 570.409} // default steps per unit for ultimaker
this for ulitmaker not for prusa . prusa z aixs use m5 or m6 threatrod
for m5 change like this { xx,xx,4000,xxx}
for m6 change like this {xx,xx,3200,xxx}
upload the firmware ,run prontface prusa z aixs maybe move normally.
