Quotethe_digital_dentist The print looks pretty good. What do you think about the motion on the mgn rails? Are they smooth and free of play? I've been using used Japanese rails but if the Chinese rails are OK I may switch. I had previously seen some comments about them being not so good. I have also ordered three mgn12 rails in china. They arrived last week. They didn't run as smooth as i haby gforce1 - Reprappers
Quotelkcl Quotethetekguy Hi all- this is my first COREXY design from scratch, based on Vulcanus Max v1.1 with frame and z carriage redesign. I used 10mm smooth rod and dual LM10UU for all x, y, and z axis carriages, and dual z lift with 8mm trapezoidal leadscrews on flexible couplers for z lift with other end of leadscrew unsupported. The bed is on a three point 2020 support 120 degrees per suppoby gforce1 - CoreXY Machines
I don't see the problem having bearings for idlers, The prusa i3 uses them and you can make some fine prints with them. @ DD Why don't you twist the belts that are running on the outside? Then they are running with the smooth side on the idlers.by gforce1 - CoreXY Machines
If i understand it right, when manual moving in proterface or repetier the distance off travel is correct? In that case your esteps are set ok. Have you set the layerheight in slicer at 2mm or 0.2mm?by gforce1 - Prusa i3 and variants
Hans.by gforce1 - Projecten
What layer hight and what nozzle size are you using ? Have you calibrated the extruder?by gforce1 - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteDust This could just be be... But I find animated smileys extremely annoying!! Any chance you would consider disabling them, especially in topics ? Thanks +1 For me the same.by gforce1 - Administration, Announcements, Policy
I would replace the idler for a GT2-pulley. In my design i have the motor in the corner, so i don't need the (2) extra pulleys. I have also twisted the belts in the same place. I can slide the motors back- and forwards for tensioning the belts.by gforce1 - CoreXY Machines
I used 2profiles 330mm long and 2 180mm long. I only modified the nutholder to hold a m8 nut.by gforce1 - CoreXY Machines
Nice build indeed. But there is no need of anti-backlash nuts because of the weight of the heatbed.by gforce1 - CoreXY Machines
Quotecat.farmer It depends on your extruder type. However if you find it is feeding backward, just reverse ( turn180 dergees)the connection on your control board First swtitch off the power.by gforce1 - Reprappers
Dus maximaal 0.32 mm.by gforce1 - Algemeen
Quote3D_Printer_Guy gforce1, Nice job. How did you build the frame? Did you tap the ends or use L shaped brackets? Are you happy with your choice? Thanks. I tapped the ends like this. I am very happy with it. It is very sollid. btw. the printer in the picture in the previous post has not been build yet. This one is:by gforce1 - CoreXY Machines
Sby gforce1 - Algemeen
Quote from Makerfarm website: "New high quality Super Sized 12" x 12" Heatbed PCB , 12VDC input, WARNING! The large Heatbed draws more current than a standard size Heatbed, approximately 20+ amps at startup for a few minutes." So i think the 20 Amps PS is not enough.by gforce1 - Reprappers
Dus nieuwe esteps = (100/gemeten lengte) * 150.by gforce1 - Software
Quotewendychai80 The 2 motor above the spool is extruder motor? Yes thats right Quotewendychai80 And with the build you already complete now do you have any problem with only 1 z axis lead screw to move the bed? I do have sometimes problems with z-wobble. i have to straighten the z-screw to fix it. It is a M8 leadscrew,by gforce1 - CoreXY Machines
