okay, so my computer got unplugged and shut off and when I started it and tried to verify and upload, this is the new error I got: In file included from /Configuration.h:36, from Commands.cpp:22: /pins.h:1:21: error: Stepper.h: No such file or directory In file included from Commands.cpp:23: /Reptier.h:23:21: error: Arduino.h: No such file or directory In file included from /Reby Anthrochick - Reprappers
Where can I download it from since I can't remember where I got it the first time. I think it can with other files?by Anthrochick - Reprappers
It's the same error as in my first post: Binary sketch size: 35896 bytes (of a 131072 byte maximum) avrdude: AVR Part "atmega1284p" not found. Valid parts are: m6450 = ATMEGA6450 m3250 = ATMEGA3250 m645 = ATMEGA645 m325 = ATMEGA325 usb1287 = AT90USB1287 usb1286 = AT90USB1286 usb647 = AT90USB647 usb646 = AT90USB646 t84 = ATtiny84by Anthrochick - Reprappers
I just tried it again and it is now compiling but won't upload. I get the nice little binary output when it finishes compiling but the second I hit upload, it spits out errors.by Anthrochick - Reprappers

this was the error I got while trying to compile using 1.0.1. Again, I only made the appropriate changes to the config file for my board In file included from cardreader.cpp:1: /Marlin.h:32:25: error: Arduino.h: No such file or directory In file included from /Marlin.h:38, from cardreader.cpp:1: MarlinSerial.h:115: error: expected ',' or '...' before '&' token MarlinSerialby Anthrochick - Reprappers
I just checked and the first line (at mega 644p) was already commented out. Any other suggestions?by Anthrochick - Reprappers
What version of marlin are you using? I'm trying to use the one on github. Maybe I've reached burn out and. Need to step away for a little while? Have you heard of anyone getting the bed temp error while compiling before?by Anthrochick - Reprappers
I know, it's weird, right? Could it be windows 7? I know some people have had issues with win7 but I'm lost on this. Maybe a bootloader issue? I'm new to Arduino so this is all a huge learning experience for me. The odd thing is that it will be fine when I verify/ compile mst of the time but the second I try to upload it goes all wonky.by Anthrochick - Reprappers
I should also point out that that was the error I got when I tried it in arduino 0023. in 1.0.1, this is the error I got: In file included from Commands.cpp:23: /Reptier.h:23:21: error: Arduino.h: No such file or directory In file included from /Reptier.h:28, from Commands.cpp:23: gcode.h:30: error: 'byte' does not name a type gcode.h:31: error: 'byte' does not name a type gcodby Anthrochick - Reprappers
If anyone could please help soon it would be greatly appreciated since I won't have anymore internet after midnight. If someone could give an explanation as to why so many one-time errors are popping up that would be great.by Anthrochick - Reprappers
Just tried to install repetier since I wasn't getting anywhere with sprinter or marlin and I got this error: Binary sketch size: 35896 bytes (of a 129024 byte maximum) avrdude: AVR Part "atmega1284p" not found. Okay, I've un installed and reinstalled arduino (0023, 1.0, and 1.0.1) 2-3 times in the past two days. I've also had to delete and re-download the files for sprinter each time I want to open the pde file in arduino since it won't let me do so otherwise for some reason only to have a new error (seriously, I have not had the same error twice so far) pop up every time I try to compile. Okay, everything was going fine last night until I tried to compile and I received this error: temperature.cpp:52: error: 'DEFAULT_Kp' was not declared in this scope temperature.cpp:53: error: 'DEFAULT_Ki' was not declared in this scope temperature.cpp:54: error: 'DEFAULT_Kd' was not declared in this scope I've tried looking for what the reason for this could be but so far, the only results googleby Anthrochick - Firmware - mainstream and related support
I know a lot of people have posted issues that they have had uploading new firmware to the atmega but from what I have found, most of these have to do with the Atmega 644. Currently, I am working with a sanguinololu board (v 1.3), with atmega 1284p and arduino 1.0.1. The problem I am having has to do with the error: avrdude: stk500_getsync() : not in sync: resp=0x00 I have tried compiling witby Anthrochick - Sanguino(lolu)
Thank you so much for such a detailed response, xiando! Wow! I will definitely give that a try if it still doesn't work after I upload new firmware. Also, for some reason, I was able to get some sounds out of my motors but only for a second or two. I'm not sure what that means but at least it's a sign, right?by Anthrochick - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
I just heard back from Botronicz and it is what xiando said. The boards I recieved are older ones that lack the trimpot endstops. However, this still doesn't account for the motor issues I've been having. I have just recieved my new thermistors as well so I'll be trying that in a couple of minutes to see if I can get any sort of temp reading.by Anthrochick - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
With the trimpot, I can turn and turn and turn without any kind of resistance in any direction. I dont remember being able to turn a trimpot that much but perhaps my memory is faulty since it's been well over 10 years (high school)since I last fiddled with one. The first thing I did was check the belts just to make sure there was nothing blocking any sort if movement but there doesn't seem to bby Anthrochick - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Don't get me wrong, I love sketchup and think it's great software for what it is but I figure it's also time to familiarize myself with some other types of CAD software. I'll probably still use sketchup as my primary but a backup would be nice, too. I know many peope use AutoDesk but even through my school it is still a bit out of my price range. Is there some kind of a middle ground? Somethiby Anthrochick - 3D Design tools
The problem is that I recieved my hot end with a broken (quite literally as it is in two pieces) thermistor so I am just going by touch until my new thermistors arrive. I'm using a 16V- 32V supply from an HP printer and I've tried both the 16V side and the 32V side without any luck. I'm reluctant to take apart my PC PSU since I may need it again for use with my old PC. I also should say that iby Anthrochick - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
I've been a pretty faithful Google sketchup user and I recently tried FreeCAD but wasn't all too thrilled with it. What else is out there that's free and that seems to be both user friendly and have some useful features? The only reason I'm really trying to transition out of google is because I haven't been able to really convert the files to .stl. If anyone knows of a good way to print the goby Anthrochick - 3D Design tools
So, after buying all new motors, double checking all the connections on my sanguinololu board, and rewiring everything, I am still unable to get my motors to budge. At one point, and only on this one occasion, one motor started to vibrate but wouldn't turn and as soon as I turned the trimpot up a bit, it stopped. This has been the only indication of life I have gotten. I turned the trimpots foby Anthrochick - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
My only concern with the fibreglass insulation has to do with loose fibres and health risks. Am I just being paranoid (my mother is a risk manager so I'm often treated to horror stories)? Isn't there a sort of foam rubber-y insulation that you put around hot pipes or use for washer/driers? I'm trying the cork around the edges on my mendel so I'll post my results with that onceI'm satisfied witby Anthrochick - Reprappers
Redreprap- 1mx1mx1m? I can understand why you would run out of room. lol. I was originally tempted to build something that big as well but I ran into the same limited space problem. I would love to know your results with the motors since I haven't been having too much luck with functional motors lately.by Anthrochick - Reprappers
Thanks for your response polygonhell! I have some robotics/hobby servos I'm going to try out at some point but I was more interested in what would be good for something with twice the build envelope of the current Prusas. I've already ruled out the little Nema 14's because of the lack of torque unless I can make modifications to deal with that sort of thing. I hadn't really considered using thby Anthrochick - Reprappers
Have you tried checking the hardware/home section of tesco or the pound store for something similar that would give a good texture to print on? I'm not sure where in the UK you are but you can sometimes find tape and such in the school displays of larger markets or chemists. Art supply stores would probably have something for mounting.by Anthrochick - Reprappers

What about double sided tape? Masking tape has a somewhat rough texture that might help sugar water stick a little better. What are you printing? Is it for consumption or decoration?by Anthrochick - Reprappers
