I am also having this problem. Printing on blue painters tape. Sits great for small prints but the longers ones come lose on the edges. ABS, 3mm, nozzle .4mm, layer thickness.3mm, all layers .3mm, Printing slow at 30mm/sec for the bottom layers. Should i bring down the bed heat or increase after the first layers. current temp 100 degrees for complete print. Riaanby RiaanLR - Reprappers
Had a similar problem. It was a cooling issue. Fan the driver boards. That sorted my problem.by RiaanLR - Reprappers
Hi Indeed thy were triggered. I had to change the value in Marlin and all was good. The stepper motor for the extruder has a slight hesitation on it. I recon this can be of low voltage to the motor and i just need to slightly adjust the voltage little bit higher. I saw it was not the hobbed bolt that was slipping. Thanks for your speedy reply previously.by RiaanLR - Reprappers
Hi I have built the Prusa i3 Steel. Did the Marlin config as described. I can get the stepper motors to move to the home position. But from there i can not move them manually with Repitier to do the calibration. I have set the pots on the A4899 driver boards to .72-.76v. It was around .95 before. I am new at this so sorry for the little info. Would appreciate some input please. Riaanby RiaanLR - Reprappers
Hi I am also stuck on a similar matter. I have built the Prusa i3Steel. I have the Ramps 1.4 shield with A4899 drivers. Jumpers in and double checked. I can get the steppers motors to move to home position. That is where it all stops. I am using Repitier with Marlin. Help please! Riaanby RiaanLR - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
