Yow, that looks too hard. I selected another profile #75 and it is perfect. Thanks anyway.by boolPool - Firmware - Marlin
OK, thanks, I will check that out. Sounds like it might do what I want. If not exactly, I might be able to get it down to a reasonable 1% or 2% error.by boolPool - Firmware - Marlin
Marlin BF 2.1.2 Hi, I have a 300mm bed that runs mains voltage. I decided to run a temperature test on the printers and this one is off by about 12% low. I am using the bed-OEM recommended Marlin number 11 thermistor. It is virtually impossible to replace the thermistor in the bed, so I am wondering if there is a temp-offset in Marlin somewhere that I can set for a 12% increase. I know I can aby boolPool - Firmware - Marlin
Just tested using the hotend manual option to heat and that seems to be a bang-bang thing as it runs all the way up to 200 without any PID-looking temperature display. If I then run the part it prints fine.by boolPool - Firmware - Marlin
[email protected] THERMAL_PROTECTION_HYSTERESIS and/or THERMAL_PROTECTION_PERIOD Thanks, but that has not helped. It seems to be dependent on an exact 10-degree difference. Watching the temp closely with the BTree touch screen that updates by the second, it triggers the instant the temp drops to 190.by boolPool - Firmware - Marlin
2.1.1 Marlin and Arduino IDE. I have an occasional problem during heat-up where it shuts down with a run away heat message. I have the print temp at 200 and watching closely during heat-up, the PID lets it sometimes get down to 190 and it triggers. If it doesn't go below 191during that first heat cycle, it heats OK then runs fine. I have done a few PID settings (M303 ...) between 200 and 220 bby boolPool - Firmware - Marlin
Awesome, thanks for the detailed reply. Much appreciated. Off I go to the configuration website right now.by boolPool - Repetier
Hi, I have not used Repetier for many years and it is time to return. Marlin is outa-control, it may have bricked my Gen-L board. I started with the Repetier web-page Configuration Tool but cannot find the MKS-GEN-L board, should I be using the Melzi or what? I did a search here and could not find anything on the Gen-L Also, just downloaded the Host-AppImage for Mint+MATE-21. Thanksby boolPool - Repetier
Hi, I have an older Anycubic Delta running Marlin 1.1.9, all good -- until the Bed Leveling Probe stopped working. I put in a new one and this one has the opposite NC/NO settings. Is it possible to reset and Save the Z_MIN_PROBE_ENDSTOP_INVERTING from "false" to "true" using an M-Code or G-Code and Save it back? The Marlin installed is dated September 2019 and I cannot find the Config files anyby boolPool - Firmware - Marlin
Hi, I am trying to install a BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo board using the RepRap firmware as described on Chris Riley's YT page. The BTT TFT35 has just stopped working so I need to plug in an LCD-12864 "Reprap full graphics whatever" but it is grayed out in the auto-configurator. I checked the Wiki, but cannot find any mention of the Display setting commands, just movement and speeds etc. I looked in theby boolPool - General
QuoteRoberts_Clif If it doesn't change the values how can you save.it Umm, by reading the Marlin Documentation! To wit M290 and M500 for Saving baby-step settings. Now, back to my original question ? And, the answer is: I tested it myself and Marlin drops all the Leveling data.by boolPool - Firmware - Marlin
Hi, I have just begun using Babysteps and like being able to tweak Z on the fly at the start of a print. Can I save the babysteps? How? IF I save the Babysteps, will Marlin then drop the Bed Leveling as it is wont to do when saving almost anything? Thanksby boolPool - Firmware - Marlin
LCD 12864 + TFT32 v3.0.0 + MKS-SBASE v1.3 -- Linux Mint 20 + Cinnamon Hi, is there a newer/better Thread I should be posting in? I am about done with Marlin and would like to use my old SBASE on a new CoreXY I have just finished building. I found the files I need to make the swap and it is almost working, but I am stumped. Before starting, I tested that the Smootieware runs fine on both screensby boolPool - Firmware - experimental, borrowed, and future
