How do you convert an STL that was designed in inches to MM and vice-versa so it imports the correct size?by joestefano - Slic3r

Updated to latest version of PanelDue and the 3rd Ex/heater indicator lights don't work.by joestefano - Duet
David, Also the yellow and red indicator lights on Ex3 on paneldue 4.3 do not work. version 1.15beta2. I just saw the update I'll try that. is there any other way to install the update besides the usb port? Can I use DWC?by joestefano - Duet
Don't know how but I fixed it. (wish I did) I am doing all this testing while I wait for my DueX2. This is a pic of my Test Bed Thank you for your help.by joestefano - Duet
Yes, I agree. I will continue to try different settings in S3D. my 1st and 2nd extruder are working as they should. Can you please check my M563?by joestefano - Duet
When defining a new tool in DWC if my 3rd extruder is connected to E2 on the Duex4 what should the Heater and drive be set at? I have it set to Heater 3 and drive 2 (it works but not sure why) Is M563 for the 3rd extruder correct?by joestefano - Duet

I have my 3rd extruder connected to E2 of the dueX4. I can heat the hot end using DWC. I can't get it to heat with my starting script in Simplify3D. Ex 1 and 2 work fine. I swapped it with a known working one and same readingsby joestefano - Duet
I am using it with 0.8.5. and the analog ground jumper seems to be in the correct position. (only 1 position available)by joestefano - Duet
I have version 2a board and the ground should have been fixed. Can I add a ground lead to this board to see if that's the problem?by joestefano - Duet
I have my 3rd extruder on E2 of the DueX4. everything is working well except the thermistor. The readings are 3-4 degrees below the others and bouncing. See config. attached. Also can someone check M584 and see if that is correct. This is a Test Bed that I am working with while I wait for my DeuX2.by joestefano - Duet
Can someone confirm that the driver numbers for a Duet with a Duex4 are as follows. 0,1,2,3, E0, E1 on the Duet. What are the driver numbers of the DueX4 E1,E2,E3,E4? Can someone give me an example of the M584 code for X,(2)Y,Z and 3 extruders please? And will this be the same for the Duetwifi and a DueX2?by joestefano - Duet
Where is the best source of info on configuring the DueX4? I want to use the drives for Axis not extruders. Also for my Duet testing board setup how can I set my extruder drives to turn without heating my hot ends?by joestefano - Duet
Do you have a dimension for the DueX2? How soon can we expect it to be available in US? I had interest in beta testing the board but never heard anything.by joestefano - Duet
Does anyone have a picture of the DueX2 or 5 connected to a Duet WIFI? Does the DueX ship with a connection cable?by joestefano - Duet
Thanks David, changing the IP address to all zeros worked.by joestefano - Duet
Yes, the ip address I have always used is 192.168.1.xx and my mac is different. I get a "err connect timed out" Could something be blocking it? Is there a way of pinging it to see if it is working? It was working before I changed the router.by joestefano - Duet
I installed a new Linksys router for my home network. I'm not able to connect to my duet using the Web Interface. I am running 1.15c and 1.12. I connected my duet directly to the router switch vs my mini wifi and still nothing. In the past I would have to change my ip address periodically to get a connection but I tried that. Not sure what to try next. My duet wifi is connecting fine to the new nby joestefano - Duet
Was the CPU Temp monitor removed from the Web Interface?by joestefano - Duet
I have 2 Y axis motors could I connect this to the Z axis on my Duet WiFi just for convenience? If so can I change my Panel Due and DWI to match this?by joestefano - Duet
I need to change the access point for my Duet WiFi. How do I do that?by joestefano - Duet
Quotedc42 QuoteCRPerryJr Thank you dc42 for your reply. Do you have an idea why I am experiencing item #1 since upgrading to Duet FW 1.15b and Paneldue 1.14? Nothing has changed hardware-wise since first installation of Duet FW 1.11 and Paneldue 1.13 back in May. This only occurs at power on. Reboots do not reproduce the issue. I can only think that it is something to do with the extra 0.5 secby joestefano - Duet
I had the sensor working great for 1 whole day. This morning I checked the printer before work and everything was fine. Tonight while loading some filament I hit the touch screen with my hand and the bed began to move up towards Z0 (not sure what button on the screen I hit) The bed did not stop at Z0. I was forced to shut off power. When I reapplied power and homed all the axis separately Z wouldby joestefano - Duet
Is there a forum for RepRapFirmware Configuration Tool?by joestefano - General
David, for clarification, when the sensor is anywhere else besides over the black paper target is it conducting readings? I'm not using it for multi position bed probing.by joestefano - Duet
I don't need pause right now. I need a cancel button. I want to change the pause script to: 1) Stop printing 2) Retract some filament 3) Move heads to X25 Y250 Z5 4) Shut off heaters I am having problems with #3 the heads go to the correct Y & Z coordinates but X moves to 0 but reads 42.0 I cant home X and because of this when I try to home Z the bed crashes into the nozzles because my blackby joestefano - Duet
David, I had everything functioning fine. I then attempted a print, after purging the bed raised above the nozzles and they crashed into the side of the bed. I shut off power to the board. I reapplied power and homed all and have lost the Z0 the bed would not stop at 0. Home Z does not work either. This happened the last time I thought I had it figured out.
