You can power it from duet but you might also need a more powerfull power supply.by Darathy - Ormerod
i think the firmware does not support Thermocouples. But DC42 will know more abaut it.by Darathy - Ormerod
Whats wrong with the Webinterface? Mybe you are using an old version? the new Webinterface is easy to use and has same commands as ponterface. Try the newest version : My favorite part is i can modify the config file in the interface itself withought the need to remove the sd card. If you have Simplify3D you could use that it has simular interface. but i could be wrong i havent been using pontby Darathy - Ormerod
i think he means: if you have in the config.g: M305 P0 R4700 H0 L0 ; Put your own H and/or L values here to set the bed thermistor ADC correction M305 P1 R4700 H0 L0 ; Put your own H and/or L values here to set the first nozzle thermistor ADC correction M305 P2 R4700 H0 L0 ; Put your own H and/or L values here to set the second nozzle thermistor ADC correction change to: M305 P0by Darathy - Ormerod
I wasnt much satisfied with it either ,the airflow wasn't high anaugh and it was noisy at high rpm.by Darathy - Ormerod
you can use my design if u like But it does not have 360 cooling ,it uses fan duct for ormerod.by Darathy - Ormerod
it could be fried driver for the extruder, did you try to remove the gears and run just the motor with the print? it could be some misalignment somewhere in the asembly cousing it to get stuck. As for the duets you have 2 options: 1: its a newer version with a bit diferent wireing and supports dual extrusion 2: it is old version with 1000k resistors and from what i hear not verry good construby Darathy - Ormerod
Yes you will need to add a mount for the sensor to the E3D mount.by Darathy - Ormerod
but if you are gona order one ,he will have to get a few orders for the big sensors ,i think he still makes the mini sensor(it is withought fan controll ,just the sensor) The big one : Mini:by Darathy - Ormerod
try switching Cables from X to extruder and see if it happens on X or improves on the Extruder. The cable can be broken somewhere along the way. otherwise i suggest buying a new nema 17 motor.by Darathy - Ormerod
QuoteEuropa Yes I do mean homing the z axis and I am quite familiar with how to do it. sometimes I will need to change the values 4 or 5 times during an evening of printing, I naturally write the new values to the config file, it will always need to be done again the next day. Treito makes an interesting point, calibrate the nozzle height when hot, I will give this a try. ABS does need a differeby Darathy - Ormerod
i'm still trying to design one, but atm making not much progress ,i think someone posted nearly finished version in an erlier post on this topicby Darathy - Ormerod
strange you must have something setup wrong, worked for me from the first print. What is going wrong with it?by Darathy - Ormerod
if you need a mount i have a simular version:by Darathy - Ormerod
Quotefotomas QuoteDarathy I have a question ,where do i set so i can go lower then Z=0? like z-0.5? I think it is something like this: M208 Z-0.5 S1; This turns of all limitations in all directions: M564 S0 Thanks.by Darathy - Ormerod
I use this fan: and use a 2N7000 mosfet wired like this: Quoteorictosh Wiring is as follows fan's black wire goes to the source on the mosfet fan's red wire goes to the fan 0 positive connection on the duet board fan's brown wire goes to the drain on the mosfet mosfet's gate goes to the negative pin on the fan 0 connection The mosfet's source conections go to a gound pin on the duet (it's the lby Darathy - Ormerod

Quotedc42 In my next firmware release I intend to review the whole bed probing mechanism, including making it robust and generating error messages where appropriate. <3by Darathy - Ormerod
If you buy the 0.8.5v you might have to make your own case ,the holes for the screws are 4mm instead of 3mm on 0.6 and the layout is abit different(ie the hot end goes in from the side and there is no place in the metal enclosure to properly wire it. otherwise it will work normaly and you will be able to do dual extrusion withought any addons.by Darathy - Ormerod
i have nothing else then M558 P1 H3.5 H being the start hight of the probing.by Darathy - Ormerod
the X=0 and Y0 are wrong since the probe will be outside the Bed thats why you get the error message. try adjusting so the sensor is over the glass. as for the H problem i dont know ,it works for me.by Darathy - Ormerod
There is a a short somewhere to the metal enclousure probably ,or near the plug of the power supply. Did you kaption tape the metal below the duet? check that you wired the powersupply and the duet correctly. You mean the fuse inside the plug? or the house fuse? if you have any metal part of the fuse it should state there what fuse it is i think. i will check mine after my print finishes and teby Darathy - Ormerod
I have tried with 2mm retraction(with ormerods 300mm bowden i think) and no blobing ,but i did also change 0.4nozzle for the 0.5 nozzle.by Darathy - Ormerod
Quotedc42 I did find that the E3D needed more retraction when I was using previously. I think this may be because the push-fit collet for the Bowden tube allows a little movement. yes thats what i noticed aswell ,i have put some hard coper wire just under the plastic push fit collet and it does not move anymore and dont see any blobs anymore( altho i have not teset with 2mm retraction yet)by Darathy - Ormerod
Change the R4700 to R1000 and remove the ;before the M305by Darathy - Ormerod
Quote0x0000 Has the wiring for the probe changed from 0.6 to 0.8.5? The pins on the new Duet are labeled, but the ones on the proximity sensor are not. On the Duet 0.6: Green = 3V3 Yellow = GND Blue = AD14 Red = AD12 My proximity sensor pins are unlabeled, and the values on the back of the new Duet do not correspond with where I had them plugged in on the old board (following this diagram fromby Darathy - Ormerod

I have just got my duet 0.8.5 and i must say the new erase and reset switches are weird ,they seem to get stuck when pushed in. Let me know if your switches are the same. 1st question I have noticed that the Probe will come in diferent place then 0.6: In the bottom left corner next to paneldue pins ,how do i wire it correctly? I have dc42's dual sensor board 2nd question is the Print coolingby Darathy - Ormerod
hmm i dont remember which firmware you needed to send T0 or T1 before you could heat up the hot end.by Darathy - Ormerod
