RepRap Host
sorry if this is the wrong forum, but i have a quick question.
i have absolutely no understanding of the electronics or software involved with reprap or 3d axis robots at all.
If someone could give me a link to where i can learn about the various electronic pieces and what they do, as well as a link to learn about some of the software, and how it interacts with the hardware (for example how i

This might be jibberish, but i had an idea that might fix the center hole problem.
Say you built two polar platforms like you had, that worked together over one build space, where the ouside of one circle would intersect the center of the other, so that when the machine enters unstable ground with one, the other is extremely accurate. I think this would solve the square problem also.

This wont catch on unless there is more organization in the wiki.
The future of the project boils down to that.
Might i propose that we start a new thread, brainstorming all of the problems with organization, and forming an idea of an ideal structure for a better wiki page. From an outline we can go about finding the right people to fill in the information.
When i came to this forum the firs

sounds good to me. Is the final goal to build a reprap out of parts printed by the mcwire or to make parts to upgrade the mcwire to reprap status?
Sorry if i appear to be hijacking the thread at all, but if you turn a mcwire into a 3D printer, what would be the point of making another one (besides to give it to someone, or just for the point of having another printer)?
I think what i am asking

Hello!
interesting that you mentioned bio wet lab equipment. This is exactly what i intend to build when i make my reprap (starting some time in february after a student loan check comes in ). I was actually on a synthetic biology forum when i saw a link to thingverse (which eventually led me here).
printing with HDPE is going to be great, its perfect for biological aplications.

Hello, im new here. When you say bootstraping what do you mean?
I have been looking into making a mendel, but would like to base it off of a belt driven mcwire design... is this what your talking about?
