Got to tinkering, turns out the red hot bed PCB fits perfectly between the leveling set screws on the G10 sheet. I taped it to the bottom of the aluminum plate. It'll get up to 83 degrees, I'm going to insulate the bottom and see if I can get it up to ABS temps. Thanx for the help.by foshon - RAMPS Electronics
It's a PC power supply rated for 28A. I have a 24v 10A Lambda unit I could just use to power the bed directly but then I would not have control of the temp. Why is the ramps dropping just the bed port? The hot end keeps chugging right along.by foshon - RAMPS Electronics
I recently purchased and installed the Trinty Labs y-axis upgrade (Awesome!!). I hooked up the convertor for the heated bed and turned it on. It runs for a bit and then the ramps stops send power. I can connect the bed to the ramps directly but I only get up to around 45 degrees C. I don't think it's possible to screw up the connection to the board, 4 ports 2 in and 2 out. The heated bed is one oby foshon - RAMPS Electronics

I just printed this and it came out all wrong. The window is perfect but the button pattern is backwards. If I flip it upside sown it everything lines up perfect. Im printing on a Mendelmax 1.5 and this is my first usable print. I set up all the axises to home to what pronterface says is the home direction. Which one is screwing me?by foshon - Printing

I've designed exactly one thing. Unfortunately it was in Autodesk 123d and before a crash/crappy customer support put me into Ubuntu. No expereince with any of the current compatable flavors.by foshon - Let's design something! (I've got an idea ...)

I have used a .35 Budasnozzle since right around day one. ABS was always perfect, PLA required a fan pointed at the print surface. I use a 80mm fan clipped to the rail though. I've never had any real stringing issues, well none that a good sharp knife couldn't cure anyhow.by foshon - Reprappers

It just so happens that is how America was founded, by unorginized citizens. Those founders saw the evil that a totalitarian government could cuase. They truely believed, as do I, that a humans rights are endowed by the creator, not a government. The second ammendment was included for one reason, to give our government a reason to fear its citizens. Libertys teeth and all. If we allow the seconby foshon - General

Hello, I'm new to the Ramps and have a question regarding power connections. After reading the wiki I get that the three pins next to the reset set are for optional power connection. I understand that with the optional diode installed I do not need to use this optional power connection. I would like to use a PSU from a computer and would like to give the firmware the ability to power it up and doby foshon - RAMPS Electronics
Yah know... I built mine with various parts sourced from various places. I have since upgraded alot (with your stuff ), but I still find myself tweaking the thing pert near everytime I use it. I cannot imagine chasing 30 of these around trying to fix all the nit picky crap that goes awry. Do the machines that you sell calirated and ready to go run that well. If so I will save a bit more cash andby foshon - Reprappers
When I set the bed up I used a smaller wire due to the size of the solder area on the board. Is there a intermediary peice I am missing or just the plenty of solder method to attach the larger cable to the board?by foshon - General
