Hi Chris, message me on wednesday and we can sort something out. With regards to the hole spacing here's the website i got them from: If you scroll down they have a full technical drawing with measurements that should answer any questions far better than me!by ollyreprap - For Sale
hi edvard, I'm afraid I don't control the shipping costs. I'm assuming your an international (not UK) citizen. Hence eBay calculates a price as part of their international shipping programme. ( I send the package to eBay) Sucks I know. Also for All: selling a DC42 electronic probe for 10 pounds or best offer (not incl postage)by ollyreprap - For Sale
They're currently on eBay at 1p with about a week to go. And I believe so I used them on 20x20 t-slot rail.by ollyreprap - For Sale
I'm moving house so getting rid of a lot of my RepRap stuff. Started the bidding on eBay for 1p so some very good opportunities: Assorted Filament: Delrin Wheels: Metal Delta Carriages: I'm also selling privately (not on Ebay) - a duet 0.85 (model with 5 stepper drivers) for 30 pounds or best offer. (not incl postage) - a PSU , comes from an Ormerod 2. 10 pounds or best offer (not incl poby ollyreprap - For Sale
Hi All, unfortunately, after many happy years printing, I'm giving it up due to changing circumstances. Consequently, I'm selling all the filament I own, a quite sizeable collection. It's on eBay at what I believe to be quite a reasonable starting price. More information : Any questions message me on here or on eBay. Thanksby ollyreprap - For Sale
Due to circumstances, I have to sell my considerable collection of 3d printer parts and supplies. I don't want to post on the general forum as I realise how annoying blatant adverts are. Is there anywhere I can post a list of items that reprappers could buy second hand? I am hesitant to go through eBay as it seem's a lot of extra work instead of just directly connecting to the community. Thanksby ollyreprap - General
thanks dc42 for the reply. I'll do that next chance I get, good to hear its a quick fix. Out of interest, is there any way to do it in software? thanks once again, Ollyby ollyreprap - Delta Machines
First off thanks to everyone here.... My delta is finally working and working well*. Other than a bit of cable management and sorting out the second extruder it's printing nicely, (see pic link if you're interested). Particular thanks to dc42 whose design i based/modified. Now I said working well. There is one remaining small issue. All my prints are mirrored. 95% of the time I don't notice itby ollyreprap - Delta Machines
*i've posted this here if it is better suited in a different category please say and i'll move it* Lately i have been having a huge amount of problems on my Delta specifically to do with extrusion. After weeks of work, movement, calibration etc is all perfect however printing well still evades me. When i first started due to placement of the bowden extruder and height of the printer i was usingby ollyreprap - General
Thank you so much! Somehow i'm still not sure when i did it but the x was deleted in the motor current lines hence there was no current, I've added it back and it works fine! Thanks once again, Ollyby ollyreprap - Controllers
Not completely sure this is the right place, if i need to move it please message me. So After successfully wiring up my delta build to my T3P3 duet 0.85, i began testing/calibrating. All was going well when while testing the extruder (waiting for hot end to warm up), i tried to home the printer and noticed one of the motors was not moving. To be clear this is one of the delta movement motors,by ollyreprap - Controllers
Thanks for the reply rick but as i said above I've already tried reprap many times? I have a feeling there maybe an error that means it rejects all passwords but am unsure? Oliverby ollyreprap - Delta Machines
Continuing my quest to build a delta I've begun configuring the electronics. I successfully flashed dc42's firmware to my duet however have run into a problem on the web control. Typing in the IP address brings up the duet control page correctly however it keeps asking for a password and regardless of anything i enter it keeps giving me the invalid message. I've used the default config.g file frby ollyreprap - Delta Machines
I'm currently building dc42's delta printer as described by his blog. As such this question is aimed at him or anyone building/ built it. I've finished the frame and spider assembly and have moved on to the rollers! I know there a redesign of the original 1515 so was wondering what screws they take as it doesn't say anywhere specifically in the blog and can imagine since there larger than theby ollyreprap - Delta Machines
Thank you very much for both of your replies! I'm using the same extrusions as you David so the carriage you linked will work fine! Also my ormerod is actually broken so i'm getting the parts printed via a local 3d printer hub quite cheaply so its not too much of a worry. Thanks for your help all the metal arrives this week so ill be beginning construction soon. thanks again Oliverby ollyreprap - Delta Machines
Having built an ormerod 2 and wanting something a bit more reliable and larger, i aim to build this great printer from davids blog . I was wondering if anyone who has built this or knows could answer these questions. 1. in the printed parts it requires "carriage truck for 2020 extrusions" where do i find the designs for these, am i missing something obvious ? The only link i could find is thisby ollyreprap - Delta Machines
Thank you very much guys this helps a lot. In response to your questions. Since i want to design this myself, the reason I've never considered a delta is simply lack of experience however after reading your blog post i am strongly considering it, the h-bot only appealed to me since it limited the amount of motors moving however i would probably go with Core XY if i built a cube like machine. inby ollyreprap - Extruded Aluminum Frames
I've been using a Reprap Ormerod 2 for a while now( about a year and a half) , as much as i think its a great little printer i want something a bit bigger and better. Since i like doing stuff myself i want to design and build my own using open builds VRAIL as a core structural material ( ). I had a few questions, i was wondering if anyone could answer, I've put this in this sub forum since i thby ollyreprap - Extruded Aluminum Frames
Thanks guys nice suggestions, will try when i get a new glass bed!by ollyreprap - Ormerod
So i recently purchased a buildtak sheet from their website to try out on my ormerod 2. It came through and after fitting it i tried a large yoda print. Initial impressions seemed superb no warping at all with pla. That was until i tried to remove the print. It wouldn't budge, try as i might the bond seemed stronger than the PlA itself. So strong that i ended up smashing the glass trying to removby ollyreprap - Ormerod
I've been having an unusual problems and wondering if anyones experienced the same ? on some objects with low infill they seem to default to being hollow for no apparent reason. i assume its a slicing problem, any suggestions or experiences? oliverby ollyreprap - Ormerod
i had a similar problem. with the temperature suddenly plummeting during mid print. The problem turned out to be a bad connection between the duet and the heater cartridge. Try checking the resistance on the brown wire and the one next to it and see if you get 3.8 ohms ( on the loom , duet end )by ollyreprap - Ormerod
Just checking have you set the right baud rate? You may have a faulty board?by ollyreprap - Ormerod
Hi, I built a Ormerod 2 earlier this year, i'm 16 and this is the first printer I've ever made and incidentally this is also the first forum post I've had. I'm having some major problems with the hot end. Primarily the fact that it's temperature control has gone majorly strange. The problem aroused when printing a small object the temperature of the hot end started plummeting and the filamentby ollyreprap - Ormerod
