Ok, finally got there 
The new arms are on order, these will fit directly onto the Mk2 Ormerod and also onto the Mk1 Ormerod with the addition of this little print (thanks Ormerod168)...
Ormerod RepRapPro 3D Printer. Extra support for the extruder:

Or you can simply print the Mk2 extruder mount.
The price is as before, £40 a set including assembly screws, plus postage of £5 for UK, £8 for EU and £10 for ROW.
I can now take pre-payments to sales@ddmetalproducts.co.uk via paypal.
They will also be going on eBay as soon as ready and on eMakershop too.
I am hoping very much to get these posted before the holiday starts so please get your orders in now

CNC machined X-plates and ribs for Mk1 & Mk2 Ormerods
CNC machined bed support arms for the Mk2 Ormerod.

How much extra weight do the aluminium weigh compared to the acrylic? Awesome work!
I think it's about three times the weight, but in reality it makes no difference, the benefits far outweigh the weight increase.

This is not my only printer and I can wait, even if ... Waiting to mount it is getting very difficult!
The arm is a bit of a strip down to fit so if not essential, I would wait.
I think my one took me an hour to fit on a mk1.

My acrylic plates was broken when i got my O2, i have glued them now but wanted a more permanent solution.

I am very happy to announce that the new arms are in, they look excellent too.
I will be preparing them and packing this weekend and all pre-orders will be off to the post office on Monday morning.
Thanks for the pre-orders and yes, I have plenty of stock left so any more who want can order when wanted.
I will not be shipping again until after Christmas though as we are away, you can of course place your orders though.
