I've tried it and it just broke. So what happened? pla came out through the labyrynth sealing and some how on the bottom so everywhere where two ptfe peaces are put together and its unrepearable. So I can't recommend it at all. other things apart from it preaking down. its gigantic and steals a lot of z travel. it drops plastic. but its cheap.by Etherflash - General
Hi, I got a problem where I got no clue what category it really fits. I can't turn off my heated bed via Gcode. these are my last lines in a gcode file: M104 S0 ;tip off works G140 S0 ;no effekt M84 ;Motors off M190 S0 ;no effekt now its starting to get weird I can turn the heated bed on with M140 S60 I can turn it off by clicking the off button in pronterface. Yes the liby Etherflash - General
I know I can turn the temperature control off. but thats not what I want (cause I really like the gradual change of temperature for the bed while moving up the layers). I just want that the beginning and the end is written by me. So the first lines of gcode after the start.gcode should be the command move to first position of print. start.gcode G1... I just noted while writing this that for somby Etherflash - Skeinforge
I found in the documentation of sfact/skeinforge that you can use settings in your alterations: first of all there is only one example for the bed temperature. and when I tried to use that in my start.gcode it does not replace it. it comes out as I entered it: M140 S setting.chamber.BedTemperature M104 S settings.temperature.BaseTemperature G28 M190 S setting.chamber.BedTemperature M109 S settiby Etherflash - Skeinforge
for some weird reason it works now I deleted sfact and reinstalled it.by Etherflash - Skeinforge
I'm using the latest from git. downloaded yesterday. The file is appended to the exported gcode but changed as I described in my previous post. G1 X1 becomes G1 X10 and G1 E-5 F900 becomes G1 E-50 F9000 So every value from g1 is multiplied by 10 Concerning the folder: I'm using the alterations folder found under \sfact_profiles\ because the other had no effect at all.by Etherflash - Skeinforge
Hi, I hope I'm in the right category cause I couldn't find an SFact one. I want to add a gcode file to the end of each gcode file generated by sfact. which works after one finds the right folder ;-P but my problem is SFact is changing my gcode Everytime I retract filament. This is part of my end.gcode: M104 S0 ; turn off temperature G91 ; relativ coords G1 E-2 F900by Etherflash - Skeinforge
Hi due to internal holes comming out way to small (23mm hole came out 21mm). I did a single wall cube test like some of you suggested. But when you look at the pictures there is no point in measuring the wall thickness. I also attached my slic3r config. 3mm Filament 0.35 mm nozzle 178°C Nozzle Temperature Print on non heated bed covered with kapton Tape(Polyimide) Pronterface Slic3r 0.8.3by Etherflash - Printing
It looks like you are printing to hot.by Etherflash - Printing
I'm using a nozzle from genesis mashines its a prass nozzle with nicr wire wrapped around it got a peek block to hold to screws and a PTFE heatbarrier. There are multiple issues with my single wall test print. I used a setting which was retracting z by .5mm and when it was getting beack down the accelleration pshed out estra plastic So Now I fixed that. But the wall thickness varies a lot betweby Etherflash - Printing
I got a .3mm nozzle So this wont work? I couldn't find another single wall test where the thickness is changable :-(by Etherflash - Printing
where can I see the wall thickness slic3r calculates and where do I get this single wall testcube? Sry I'm pretty new to this.by Etherflash - Printing
Hi, I just calibrated my printer inclding the E achsis. for 100mm the E is off by -0.1mm But when I print my parts get too much plastic(they should get too little) this happens at the ends especially. Like you can see on the many pictures of my endstop holder. I believe its to to the longer time t sits on corners due to the directional change. But how can I fix my printing problems? Reprap Prusby Etherflash - Printing
The artikle is helpful and I will try making kompensations for all those errors but what I don't understand in this parametric coin calibration thing there are rectangular holes too which are to small too.by Etherflash - Printing
Hi I finished my reprap 2 days ago and its printing like a charm I Printed some calibration cubes and the xy achsis are of by about .1 to .2% Now I started printing objects with holes Coin Calibration thing (thing11270) I did set the coin size to 23.25 mm (1€ piece) and the holes came out about 21mm. I'm printing with PLA 3mm 0.35mm nozzle non heated bed (kapton tape as print surface) Slic3r anby Etherflash - Printing
There could also be a mismatch for the baudrate. look in the driver properties if 19200 is selected.by Etherflash - Firmware - mainstream and related support
the problem is that you need to press the reset button on the motherboard before you click on upload press it hold it press the upload button on the arduino software and release the reset button after about one second.by Etherflash - Firmware - mainstream and related support
Thanks. I figuered it out by myself but forgot to mention it on the forum^^ So You just have to match the baudrate in the firmware (configuration.h) with the one in the driver of your comport for the sanguino.by Etherflash - Sanguino(lolu)
To what do i need to Set the Baudrate?by Etherflash - Sanguino(lolu)
Hi, Well I finished my sanguino and uploaded the sprinter Firmware. I pluged in one pololu und a stepper motor. To try it. Using the rerap software but it doesn't move makes no sound and is not getting warm anywhere. (I oluged in the power cord^^,USB and set the Port(name) to com6 (in Reprap Preferences, com6 is my sanguino) when I open the serial monitor(where it should say start(Sprinter Firmwhby Etherflash - Sanguino(lolu)
I think the reset sequence did it but I also changed the baudrate. But my motors wont turn When I watch the serial monitor of my arduino IDE instead of start it says: 8=ÿ I did only plug in my power and 3 off my motors.by Etherflash - Sanguino(lolu)
I did set the correct comport. but I have no idea about the baudrate. could you explain?by Etherflash - Sanguino(lolu)
Hi, I just finished my sanguinololu 1.3a board. I downloaded the Arduino IDE 023 the saguino drivers for 023 and the FTDI Drivers. Ichose the comport and the sanguino /W 644P in the IDE. When I plug in the USB A new Comport shows Up. But when I try to upload the Sprinter software (It compiles fine) I get an error: Binary sketch size: 28880 bytes (of a 63488 byte maximum) avrdude: stk500_getsync()by Etherflash - Sanguino(lolu)
If I try to compile it with Arduino 0023 I get following error code: Binary sketch size: 28824 bytes (of a 63488 byte maximum) avrdude: Can't find programmer id "arduino" Valid programmers are: dasa3 = serial port banging, reset=!dtr sck=rts mosi=txd miso=cts dasa = serial port banging, reset=rts sck=dtr mosi=txd miso=cts siprog = Lancos SI-Prog ponyser = design ponyprogby Etherflash - Firmware - mainstream and related support
Hi I'm using the Arduino 1.0 IDE changed all the stuff to fit my hardware (Sanguinololu 1.3a, no endstops) and edited the files to make it compile: QuoteIn case anybody is interested, Sprinter will compile with Arduino 1.0 with the following changes: Sd2Card.cpp #include --> #include SdFat.h void write(uint8_t b); --> size_t write(uint8_t b); SdFile.h #include --> #includby Etherflash - Firmware - mainstream and related support
I fixed it after a long time with searching for solutions on the internet and no answer to my problem I sad down with my multimeter. The problem was that one pin wasn't soldered corectly. I just don'tknow why it worked before on the second pc. there had to be a fraction of a contact right after soldering. which broke. So if you have similar problems check your soldering.by Etherflash - Sanguino(lolu)
Hi Guys, I just finished the Sanguinololu 1.3a but my computer isn't recognizing the board. On my Computer is Windows 7 x64. I checked the FTDI chip on a diffrent computer. and the rxtx test worked well (windows XP x32). The second computer was at a friends place where i started soldering the sanguino but I don't have access to that computer any time soon. First the device manager told me Unknowby Etherflash - Sanguino(lolu)
Well the voltage is often not specified what should I look for? The Resistance?by Etherflash - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Well the ebay motors are on a good price level. The shipping is as expensive as the motors but never mind. My problem is I need motors where I can get the same ones over and over again, preferably with a datasheet upfront. My second problem is we are using current limitation with the elektronics and there is almost never anything about the voltage. With the PC Powersupply we are set to 12 Volts.by Etherflash - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Hi, Im from germany and want to build my first Mendel Prusa. I got everything except the stepper motors since I'm on a tight budget rigt now I wanted to ask if you guys know a cheap supplier for stepper motors shipping to germany at a reasonable price. I found this site which has pretty good prices: but they don't ship to germany. and I'm not sure if their motors work (pretty hight resistance Iby Etherflash - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
