WELL..... no problems here.... i think, not bad for first printby woo - Reprappers
well, you have M10 rods, in my kit all rods are M8. I waz thinking to make larger holes on y corners for M10 rods, but i didnt because i waz scared that everything fall apart, because i dont have experience with printed parts... about Y-Z i have made few mods. i bought longer M8 bolts, and straighten one edge of each bolt on lathe, and frame is tightened with bigger washers.. Extra supports aby woo - Reprappers
hello... here is my slightly modificated prusa i3, that i bought from reprapuniverse. i also added longer threaded rods on back Y axis, its preparation for z-y support connection, wich i think will be needed... then fixed Y axis belt mount, so now belt is always straight motor-belt mount-idler motors will be powered with tb6560 drivers @24V, ramps with 550W PC supply. yes, its very good idea. i like polar bots a lot, but from engeneering pow it would be much easier to set up relular cartesian machine with wider X axis and 3-4-5 extruders on it. you can try put additional extruder on mednel 100 mm x offset and 2 additional y offset 100 mm for try, then you have 4 prints with 100 x 100 mm base. about 3 set of arms...yes, but not in same Z height., becauseby woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms

hello. so, i am little stupid, and will ask a question // SCARA tower offset (position of Tower relative to bed zero position) #define SCARA_offset_x 100 //mm #define SCARA_offset_y -65 //mm if i got it right, this are offsets from tower center to bed x0,y0 or? #define SCARA_RAD2DEG 57.2957795 // to convert RAD to degrees //#define SCARA_DEG2RAD 0.0174532 this one converts motor stepsby woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms
you dont have to change anything in firmware....just put relay trigger on pins where you connect hot end heater. so when firmware turns heater on it will trigg relay and that is it. just make shure that that you dont have problems with relay, it would not be nice if relay stucks on powered state... so you need relay that triggers on 12Vby woo - General
i am so lucky tomorrow Croatia joins EU so i dont have to pay taxes, or customs very nice to read about kraken have you think about just half of kraken? 2 water cooled hotends?by woo - General

well, you invented scara arm well, i would never put whole scara arm on 5 mm shaft from one motor... you need some basic construction...by woo - Polar Machines, SCARA, Robot Arms

I didnt search cad on github, just checked prusanozzle page, thank you. i will try to make one once i finish my first repstrap. vegasloki: in this case we have 2 things: i quote you: ability, expertise and access to the equipment. for example i have acess to lathe(manual) and my best mate works in other company on cnc lathe, so lets say thats not a problem. other thing is knowledge about nby woo - General
one hotend ordered from Croatia just one question, if i got it right, hotend is prepaired also for bowden pneumatic push-fit? because, my plan is start with hotend directly attached to Greg's Wade extruder, but if necessary swap to bowden styleby woo - General

question is if these acme setuup was done right.. for example, i use longer nuts, on my cnc mill(M16), and they will also be on my 3d printer(working in progres.) and they are alot better than these normal ones... on my mill tolerances on meassured cutted part are -/+0.2 mm about coupler. when you use this coupler, acme screw must be axially fixed with bearing. becouse that cutted spiral plaby woo - General
hm,looks very interesting, 2 of them 280x200 mm and 1000 w.. it doesnt say wich temperaturec they can produce?by woo - General
so guys, i just looked this topic: and then i think... if you take this rotary table for Y axis purpose, and this parallel arm scara arms for X-Z axis then we have fully printable 3d printer without any linear rail, just bearings. Only problem is to solve extruder angle to rotary table, because its not always 90 degree to board... i don know if any mechanical solutions is possible....by woo - Developers
