Did you get any other material? I plan to get the same printer.by XYZM - Printing
Sorry bout that misfortune mate, don't destroy the printer though! Try a Mk8 extruder? What if you try to print a simple box? I'll be sure not to buy the Folger...by XYZM - Printing
Sweet. Which printer do you have? On the ebay listing for the one I'm looking at, it says the heat bed requires 230 C and this model the heat bed only goes to 110, what a turn off! The printer is a i3 Geeetech Pro B Whats your experience with the heat bed?by XYZM - General
ahh I've been reading about the RAMPs1.4. thanks. @ Tigreen I suppose you could find the model of the extruder and still that to get wood filament.by XYZM - Prusa i3 and variants
Any Experience with Wood Filament anybody? Is it possible to make any common printer, like the Rosell or the Delta into a wood filament printer? I assume you have to change the extruder, and change some voltageS?by XYZM - General
we'd be printing all kinds of stuff, governments would wants a piece. Some may even get a degree in 3D printing, so lets make sure we learn as much as we can now!by XYZM - General
I am seeing one called A4988 and another DRV8825, when I select the second the price of the printer goes up on ebay. Any input would be great.by XYZM - Prusa i3 and variants
On ebay I see ones that are Sanguinololu and some that are RAMPS1.4-Iduino Mega R3? Which one do you have?by XYZM - Prusa i3 and variants
Awesome! How good is the detail on the printer? Have you tried wood filament? and what exactly is an end stop? Sounds like it is something electronic now.. Found what an endstop switch is now.... LOTS to learn!by XYZM - Reprappers
Hey tikaksen30, I am thinking about getting this exact printer. What do you mean the end stop was broken? So you ordered a new one? Thanks.by XYZM - Reprappers
Very cool, thanks for the descriptive review. Can you tell me the difference between yours and the "B" model? I plan on making this my first 3D printer: the Geeetech i3 Pro B, I choose this because I'd like to print in wood filament.by XYZM - Prusa i3 and variants
