Quotestephenrc Z home will put the nozzle at +Z probe offset. If you want the nozzle to touch the bed, send G1 Z0. Hi thanks for reply. It shows offset on LCD screen but looks like its ignoring it. Worked fine on Repetier but was giving fatal error on G29 Home safe enabled G29 runs fine but cant get offset sorted Regardsby rastaman46 - Firmware - Marlin

Hi all again Can any one tell me witch one is better ??? What is the main difference between them ??? Regardsby rastaman46 - Controllers
Looking forwards to it !!! Regardsby rastaman46 - Controllers
Hi just quick question can I build radds board? is it open source? I want it just for my self upgrade my printer !!! Regardsby rastaman46 - Controllers
So what do u use for mill? can you post some pictures of ur pcbs??? QuoteVDX ... I'm laserengraving, etching and milling PCB's only for 'hot' prototyping, where time counts Ordering a PCB needs some days (best time was 3 days) or more money (next day delivery). Engraving, etching, milling and populating/soldering needs below one hour for my typical projectsby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
Yes its better to get pcb manufactured .But we not talking here mass production we talking DIY at home. I love to DIY my self cos its good fun better then get drunk in pub!!! we talk open source easy to make to every one isn't this what reprap is all about??? I have build my corexy just for fun I got nothing to print bu I love this design so much. Solder mask is easy look at this Btw im BGAby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
Is any one tried this? Is machine performs fine what about quality??? Want to get some pcb's milled so I can go from 8bit to 32bit (Hate chemicals) and do love to work with PCB Regardsby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
I run my prusa i3 for more that a year never suffered non of this never replaced a stepper all runs fine Quotegrat There are many reasons for replacing RAMPS with pretty much anything else-- But socketable stepper drivers is not one of them. Virtually all RAMPS boards are cheap-- cheaper than cheap. Underrated polyfuses, underrated power connectors to the heated bed, no heatsink on the MOSFET fby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
Any dates on this ? what steppers will be used? Regardsby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
Frame made from 39x19 ERW tube (Just tack welded together ) Really nice and stiff frame love it Yes Z belt driven system (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:730199) I had it done in wood but didn't like it was really loud (Box noise effect) So gone for steel got drawings if needed Electronics Duet is good but I don't like that it have built in 1/16 steppers I thinking to go for RADDS&Ardby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
Replace with what ??? RADDS&ARDUINO DUO? See attached for build Regardsby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
Sorted thanks for help Problem was X endstop didn't work for some reason replaced now runs fine and fast !!! Regardsby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
Thanks for reply Its fully reconfigured for CoreXY. Firmware is latest Repetier 0.92 or something. Board ramps 1.4 Arduino mega End stops wired up on MIN and in firmware set same (Works on Y&Z) But don't work on X its hits the switch it look like homes but then start go to Y direction don't understand why. Ill get video done once home to show what going wrong. Regardsby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
Hi all Just turn my prusa i3 into Corexy but got some problems there I got Z homing fine Y homes fine But X doesn't X seams to homes fine but don't understand why then it start to move in Y direction then its jams Firmware I use is Repetier Regardsby rastaman46 - CoreXY Machines
Check VREF for stepper boards. Its over powered and overheating and causing to stop skip layers. Regardsby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
I have got Vref on axis 0.56V lowest I could get. Ok ill try add fan to board. Thanks for response Regardsby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
Hi I start having problem my prusa i3 start jumping in layers badly like 3 to 4 mm prints ok for 2 3 hours then starts jumping looks like its jumping in Y axis All belts are tight. Calibration is of only got 0.2mm difference in dimensions. What can cause this ?? Its ok for short prints but long prints start failing is here anything to do with Vref? or board overheating ? Regardsby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
Hi Where can I source them "1/64 stepper drive boards" Regardsby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
I think I found my problem. Im was printing 1.75 and all gear I had it was 1.75 I thing that cause a problem . I got one nozzle for 3mm filament I try that. BTW I managed to do long print on 1.75 nozzle all I did is I changed layer height to 0.3 from .25 and its prints fine no clogs nice print . Regardsby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
Hi I have an issue my prusa i3 was totally fine on long prints with ABS. Now I have got some PLA and cant print long print keep clogging. I have E3D head and separate nozzle for PLA but that not seam to help much. I have fan 100% on to extruder heat sink. How can I prevent this I got print to do that takes 7.30Hours but cant get past 4 hours. Temp used 180 first layer then 175 printed fby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
Sorted thanksby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
First Layer not 100% what to do? Regardsby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
Thanks sorted ajusted VREF start working fine thanksby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
Thanks For reply!! No I did not set VREF Voltages how to do it? Yes I have calibrated extruder using formula is that correct. Regardsby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
Thanks for reply!!! How to solve this by adding Fan to Ramps board or change Power Supply ? Regardsby rastaman46 - General Mendel Topics
