This is Kai from Tinkercad. We currently don't let you download the original STL even if we store. We are more focused on letting people edit the STL after importing than acting as an file archival service. I think richrap is right, either store the files on something like GitHub that lets you have byte perfect downloads or have the community come up with some kind of service.by KaiBackman - General
Has anyone produced gcode for milling the mendel parts? I have a 4 axis mill and a quick glance at all the parts seems to indicate they could be milled out of HDPE.by KaiBackman - Mechanics
And the problem is solved. Turns out Sanguino has a slightly different pin layout than the atmega644p that it houses. Notably one of the GND pins was actually VCC. No wonder things didn't work they way I expected them to..by KaiBackman - Controllers

This happens with just metal components, I'm running the probe against some PCB substrate. I think it has something to do with the spikes generated by the sudden close oby KaiBackman - Controllers
I built a single touch probe that shorts one of atmega pins to ground. When I test it with a piece of wire things work fine, but when I attach everything to my repstrap triggering of the probe kills the sanguino. I've tried adding a 100k ohm resistor to the path, but so far with no success. What am I doing wrong? How should one design such a probe?by KaiBackman - Controllers
I've been using the V1.2 stepper drivers and a Sanguino to drive my Sherline mill. Has been working like a charm so far. I use custom firmware on the Sanguino.by KaiBackman - Mechanics
I would be interested in a quote for the 108 parts as well.by KaiBackman - Reprappers
I'm a Finn but currently living in California. It was nice to see there is a Finnish LUG! You might want to look at German suppliers, we used to live there and they seemed pretty well stocked. The currency is also the same, in contrast to the U.K.. I can't remember specifics (or don't know who delivers online) but I remember the pricing was competitive with the U.S. Ie. something costing $3 woulby KaiBackman - Finnish RepRap User Group
Mountain View, CA. Starting to get the first PCBs and parts together for a RepStrap. There seems to be a 3D printer at toolshop.ws that could potentially be used for printing a set of Darwin parts.by KaiBackman - California, San Francisco Bay Area RUG
