Thanks. Went to 3 sensors and levelers instead of 4. Speed seemed to be the trick.
EDIT: Here is the Univeral PCB holder I came up with to secure this to my bed carrier.

Can you clarify what you mean by re-soldered?
Which ones do you think were the culprit?

I'm having some sensing issues the Andromeda units I have installed as bed supports to blocks that are attached to the bed carrier.
Its not the Andromeda's, they work fine individually if i tap them when unmounted with the polarities consistent to the Universal 2.75 board.
Here is my support- kind of like SupraGuy's post from a few pages ago. The adjuster wheel bears on a washer between it a

Is there a drawing of the Orion board like for the Andromeda board?
How big of a hole can we have in the center?

You might want to move this question the Marlin discussion forum.... it sounds like you need to invert the sensing of the endstop in your Configuration.h file

thanks for the reply. i will do my best with the above edits
EDIT: I used the above edits in a fresh download of 1.1.9. The line numbers were close, not exactly perfect, but not far off.
I do question a couple of lines- in the first part of the diff, you added commented lines for U8GLIB entries? are they needed if they are commented?

I am trying to build one of these up as well.
Regarding Marlin- is the config file changes listed in the above post the same as the option for this entry for graphics control panels in Configuration.h file?
This is from 1.1.8.

I am not good with code and am having trouble following the files and calls.

Greetings all-
I am really confused about which library to use to compile Marlin- the page for U8glib says no more development for U8glib, and that we should use U8g2 instead.
Then when you start looking at that page-
the upgrade path is not so simple.
Has anyone gone through the migration yet? It seems like a lot for the well initiated but not knowledgeable enough user like me.

What should I be using instead?

thanks for the reply. maybe i was not specific enough- yes, i understand that i should be somewhere around 0 for the mesh points. this is how things were looking when i first got the probe.
my Z probe trigger heights have been slowly but steadily creeping up. when i got the probe, it was triggering around 2.6mm. when things started going weird, i backed-up and calibrated. then i got like 2.8mm.

What are your steps/mm for the extruder in the configuration file?
Are you taking into consideration the changes in native usteps?
Double checked your electrical connections? What about wiring? Are you pairs rights? If it wall all working fine then it wouldn't apply but if you have a break in a wire somewhere, it could mimic bad wiring.

Hi-
I am having trouble with bilinear bed leveling with the 1.1.x bugfix release. I can not determine if its the sensor being flakey or if its the firmware.
Here is a video of Autohoming and G29 leveling. The bed does not properly retract/advance when its probing points 6, 7 & 8.
Here is a copy of my logfile with debug turned on. At around line 2590 is where i am determining the probe

I am having similar experience- sensor trigger heights change and vary between 2.65 and 2.9mm. I got the probe board 3-4 of weeks ago from Filastruder.
I am using a RAMPS board with Marlin 1.1.8_bugfix and have tried both Bilinear and Unified Bed Leveling. My surface is 1/4" glass and I have tried it with and without hairspray. I painted my aluminum build plate with flat black grill paint- thou

i am struggling with this too- i could not figure out if it was my sensor or glass bed. and i have holes in my mesh-
i am tripple sensing, using dc42's ir sensor.
my FW is older than 2 weeks- can someone point me to somewhere that might give me an overview of how to migrate to latest release without loosing my customizations and configurations?

i meant the search terms.
i have been searching for "mega2560 digital pins", "mega2560 pin map" and other varients and getting nowhere.
my stumbling block seems to be getting the right search term.

Yes, I did try to write the pin assignments myself. I will admit, it was quite late when I did that and might have made mistake, but I wrote them based on the mapping that I found in the second picture that I posted. Is that one incorrect?
The picture that you posted- how should I have found that?
That seems to answer my lingering questions.

Did you look at these wiki pages for troubleshooting?
1. Can you turn on the power supply by connecting a dummy load to the Green (PS_ON) wire to ground?
2, Have you checked to see if you need a dummy load on the +5V rail?
Disconnect everything from the RAMPS and go through the procedure and check your connections. It should be as simple as putting a load on the +5V side to ground and g

Hi all-
I am trying to study the RAMPS/Mega2560 schematic to learn more about how the pins are assigned so I can understand the pin assignments in Marlin.
I am using plain vanilla RAMPS 1.4 + Mega2560. I have specified ramps_efb in the config and my printer works just fine. I am considering adding the fan expander or an XB so this is why i am trying to figure this out.
I am really confuse

If you get an error in Octoprint (1.3.6) after uploading firmware (1.1.8) after enabling the EEPROM feature in Marlin, its not a problem per say, its a feature. Octoprint may complain about CRC checksum errors and will not allow you to connect. This is normal...
I am posting this here because I can not figure out where else to report the info. If you try searching for the issue, you will end
