Jeff, We use polyeurethane glue, like gorilla glue. It bonds well, but can still be removed from the metal shaft later if you need to. You should have extra gears there, sometimes you need to glue two of them together to make it long enough for the installation.by kymberlyaandrus - Mechanics

TechZone Communications began working with reprap parts in February of 2010 (we made our very first product offering on the 29th of January) The product offered was an electronics kit. Since then, TechZone has filled more than 400 orders! In our few short months, we have expanded our product line to include LaserCut replacement parts for the printed Mendel pieces, and complete kits to build aby kymberlyaandrus - For Sale

I've not been following threads on the forum as I should have been as I have been trying to catch up on our orders. Most of the responses we have received so far to the Laser Cut Mendel have positive and we appreciate everyone who has helped us. I know we are not perfect and we appreciate the feedback we have gotten from everyone so far, good and bad. With the electronics we did have some solderiby kymberlyaandrus - General Mendel Topics
We have had some ups and downs, most recently we received the wrong threaded rod and defective chips. This caused delays on several of our orders(un-soldering and re-soldering surface mount chips can be real buger as can the threaded rod not combining with the nuts and bolt you order it for.) Both suppliers fixed the problems, but it took over a week to receive the corrected parts. We have hopefuby kymberlyaandrus - General

Sorry I missed your post. Yes the wobble is gone(part kids no longer bouncing on hard wood floor, and part redesign of axis, for better bearing contact.) I have a new video, but it is being edited. I hope to have this up Saturday 5/15, but I will post a link on the forum when it is, hopefully with our extrusion video too. And yes all the assembled ones are sold, whew!. These are a high density birch plywood set that are laser-cut and I can sell them for $34.50 a set. I prefer paypal. Email me at kymberlyaandrus(at)yahoo.com for questions or shipping costs. I chose to make the build plate out of high density ply-wood with a inset aluminum plate. See the two pictures for top and bottom view of the build plate.by kymberlyaandrus - For Sale

You may have problems with the bearing mounts made from acrylic, since the design (If it is the one I think you are useing) relies on the "spring" characteristics of the wood to keep tension on the bearings to the bar. Acrylic is too brittle and I doubt if it will work correctly,by kymberlyaandrus - Plastic RepRap Parts for Sale
this design does use the same count and sizes of rod as the original Mendel. The nuts and bolts are similar, but we do not use as many of them. I will be offering a kit for the "differences" to allow a person to convert their LaserCut Mendel to the original Mendel as they print the parts. Getting documentation done is top priority right now.by kymberlyaandrus - For Sale

Which country? If I send it assembled, it is pretty expensive. If I dismantle the frame, and put it in a smaller box it isn't too bad.by kymberlyaandrus - For Sale
Ahhh..... The mainboard that I produce has two footrpints, one nested inside the other, so that it can use either/or of the processor packages. This is done due to an availability of parts, sometimes it is difficult to get the part in the TQFP package, so we have the board layed out so that you COULD use the mlf style package instead. Depending upon your soldering techniques, it is more diffiby kymberlyaandrus - For Sale
Andrew, They are the modified board I made, which are listed in the Wiki , I am not sure what you are asking... They are not the Makerbot version (if that is what you want to know) If you have a different design in mind, I can probably help with that too (depending upon quantity). OK... I guess that now I am caught up and done dealing with a very hectic week, it is time to make some sort of response. The files are posted, along with much better description on the RepRap Wiki, they can be found here: however, I was not able to upload my original "source files" or an editable vector that is in Corel Draw format, since the file upload doesn't seem to allow me to upload .ziby kymberlyaandrus - For Sale
