hello, Im having problems with my extruder, whenever i connect to my printer and tell it to heat up the extruder, in the middle of heating up, around 100 degrees it gives of an error 11:24:51.325 : Error:Heating failed, system stopped! Heater_ID: 0 11:24:51.329 : Errorrinter halted. kill() called! i can sometimes manage to get it to heat up to the required temp by quickly reconnecting and contby Karzin - Reprappers
So finally i after some adversity, i've put my printer together, and all the axises moved impeccably and heaters worked separately just fine. then when i just wanted to print out a test piece, the i got an error, that may heater failed: ID bed. after a restart same thing but with the extruder. and after yet another restart, i got the extruder to finally reach the target temp, but immediately afby Karzin - General New Machines Topics
Hello, I have a problem regarding termistors, ever since I've coonected termistors, to my ramps board i could not get my printer started. allways with the error MAXTEMP TRIGGERED. I've deduced that my ramps 1.4 was faulty, because the when i put the ohmmeter probes to either one of he six pins, i get a reading of 30kOhm, so I bought a new one, and thisone gives a reading of 8kOhms, in the linby Karzin - Reprappers
Hello, my machine used to work fine, until I started to need heating.( previously i worked with just a pen) but once i attached the thermistors and enabled them on the firmware the extruder heated up once and started cooling down almost immediately. after that everytime i would try to connect to my printer, i get the error: Error:MAXTEMP TRIGGERED I've researched it and i know that this happenby Karzin - Developers
UPDATE: I now even unplugged everything from the arduino, and lft just the usb able to connect to the pc. and it still gives the error immediatelyby Karzin - Reprappers
for a controller Im using an arduino mega 2560 and a RAMPS1.4 max temp is set to 275 and min for 0 for themristors Im using some 100k thermistors that i've bought in my local electronics store: and im including my config file the strange thing is that it worked for me for one instance, it heated up to 210 degrees, and immediately started to cool down, and from that point on, it give the ''Mby Karzin - Reprappers
yeah, I did that already, twice, even replaced to a new thrmistor, still the same, but as I've found out on warious threads with similar problems, if the circuit was open like you said, the error would trigger 'MINTEMP' ,however if I even unplugg the thermistor, it still says ''MAXTEMP'',by Karzin - Reprappers
I also forgot to mention that if i leave the circuit if the thermistors open the error still shows 'MAX" temp, even though according to logic it should say 'MIN' Atfirst i thought that maybe my ramps was damaged, but it's ok, and because of this error beiing the same one way or the other, I'm beginning to doubt that the problem is in the shorting of as circuitby Karzin - Reprappers
hell, I keep getting this error as soon as i connect to the printer: 15:15:58.744 : Error:MAXTEMP triggered, system stopped! Heater_ID: 0 15:15:58.747 : Errorrinter halted. kill() called! 15:16:39.768 : Communication timeout - reset send buffer block 15:17:27.897 : Communication timeout - reset send buffer block even though i've just checked for any shorts in the circuit but everything is soundby Karzin - Reprappers
Yeah in another forum i found a suggestion that a extruder Thermistor can sometimes be short if the error says that maximum temperature exceeded, or an open circuit if the minimum temperature reached. so I checked the wires and appearantly the extruder thermistor legs had broken off at some point. And the reason the printer did not move was because it wasn't plugged to a wall DDD however the prby Karzin - Reprappers
the com port is the same, the baud rate is 250000, but nothing happens, I reconnected and i get this: 10:40:06.717 : Printer reset detected - initalizing 10:40:06.718 : start 10:40:06.722 : echo:Marlin 1.1.0-RC7 10:40:06.723 : echo: Last Updated: 2016-07-31 12:00 | Author: (none, default config) 10:40:06.724 : Compiled: Jan 16 2017 10:40:06.726 : echo: Free Memory: 5351 PlannerBufferBytes: 1232by Karzin - Reprappers
Hello, im new to this world, and thinking of building a second printer. I've built the prusa i3 that i"ve redisigned to be a bit smaller, but barley. and my main problem is that they are rather big commpared to the printing volume. And I've thought of a design that I think would make the printer smaller but still printing i the volume of the same size So I was wondering are there any other priby Karzin - General
Hello, so I've done putting together my printer and before i had an extruder attached, I.ve printed with only a pen attached and everything worked fine. Now that i Have attached an extruder however, it wont respond. What I have done since the last time that i moved it, I've added another a4988 driver for the extruder, attached all the wires that come with the extruder, and edited the lines in coby Karzin - Reprappers
Thanks You good sir. have happy new year!by Karzin - Prusa i3 and variants
Okay thank you, now as i understand if i set the DEFAULT_MAX_FEEDRATE to for example 120, whenever the Feedtrate in gcode is above that, it will get clipped to 120, am i right? wont it affect other axis? because i've tried moving the x and y at 1800 mm/min and it worked fine, did that with 120 mm/min and it took forever to just get to one positionby Karzin - Prusa i3 and variants
How'd You know that i have an is? lol, but yeah i have a i3, however ive designed the x and z axis myself so that its a lot different from your usual i3. and in this ''reworked' model i used m10 rods I now know that it was a mistake, however currently i cant really do that over. Anyways i'd like to ask in line: #define HOMING_FEEDRATE_Z (4*60) Why is there '4*60' why is it multiplied by 60? whyby Karzin - Prusa i3 and variants
Hello, I've assembled my printer and at this point the X and Y axis moves without glitches, however if the Z axis is not at 0 the moment i press ''connect'' in Repetier host when i press the ''home'' button, the Z axis makes a noise as if it was stuck and is struggling to move, but when i hit the endstop with my hand only then it starts to move towards zero. And when i run a simple g-code that haby Karzin - Prusa i3 and variants
