I faced the same question. I chose a Wilson TS. Couldn't be happier with my decision. :-) Here is a link to my forum post on my reasons for choosing a Wilson TS and my experience building and using it. There are other forum postings on the Wilson TS. Do a search on the forums. I think you will find that almost every post is very positive about the kit and design. You also should verify that your filament is not slipping on the extruder. Mine was and I increased the tension and these imperfections disappeared.by bassnfool - General Mendel Topics
Khel, I looked up the user mjrice on ebay ( USA ) and sent him a message asking about the kit. He responded very quickly and listed a kit to my specs. You can also search for him on thingiverse and leave a message: BassNFoolby bassnfool - Reprappers

I was looking at the same thing, however, after reading these forums I came to a conclusion... The cheapest kits are cheap for a few key reasons: 1. They have cheap parts such as minimally spec stepper motors, bearings, etc 2. They have minimal customer service You end up replacing bent smooth rods, buying better steppers and bearings, trying to print better parts and endlessly troubleshootby bassnfool - General

I am absolutely loving this printer! I have printed 2 phone holders and 4 kitchen drawer rail brackets ( as well as several prototypes )! I should have done this years ago! For those people looking for a kit, I can't recommend this enough. One thing made my life much easier... There are little Phillips screws, trim pot, on rash stepper driver... You acn adjust the power going to each motor by turning the screw. Turn 1/4 turn at a time until it move correctly.by bassnfool - Prusa i3 and variants
If you are using marlin, the endstops are defined in firmware. It sounds like you need to set the x endstop to max. Make sure you have the endstop plugged into the correct pins.by bassnfool - Prusa i3 and variants
For me it was a matter of convenience. I bought a complete kit, A Wilson ts, for $480 from mjrice on eBay. I found that buying the bom piecemeal would cost just as much as a quality kit. If considering a kit: 1. Buy from a reputable vendor. 2. Ensure the parts are quality 3. Ensure the support is good Don't: 1. Buy the cheapest without due diligence. 2. Forget to factor in shipping time, notby bassnfool - General Mendel Topics

Andrew, Good choice with the Wilson ts. I finished my ts I bought as a kit from Marty Rice. Took me about 10 hours. I enjoyed the build and I have enjoyed using the printer. Bassnfoolby bassnfool - Reprappers

My prints were great, however, I let a strand from the hotend wire short... and blew the mosfet which regulates power to the hot end. I'm sure it was my fault but Marty offered to replace the ramps board for free. It should get here today.by bassnfool - Prusa i3 and variants
Take a look at the Wilson ts. It is on the varients list that andrewbcn posted above. The kit offered by Marty rice is complete and of high quality. I was looking at sourcing the parts, but I couldn't beat his price $480. Only took two evenings to build and worked great right off the bat.by bassnfool - Prusa i3 and variants
I just built a wilson ts... easy and solid. I love mine.by bassnfool - General
I appreciate the info and plan to practice removing stuff from a circuit board. I will not be using it to solve this problem...
