have you considered using gear reduction? its not the most compact solution, but its pretty low cost and i have not had any issues with the x gantry dropping on my prusa style machine. i am using two sets of 20 tooth and 80 tooth pulleys with a .09 degree motor and 32 tooth pulleys to to ultimately get to 1600 steps per mm. you would just have to find the right combination of pulleys to reach yoby tolar250 - Reprappers
i will try tonight. but i didn't do anything special i just fed it through the adapter into the hotend and trimmed it either flush with the top or just below the top of the adapter.by tolar250 - Delta Machines

i printed mine myself on another printer out of petg. if you are ordering from shapeways the natural versatile material should be fine.by tolar250 - Delta Machines

yes i am using the same adapter. for the cable length i am unsure, you may want to join the zesty nimble forum (https://forum.zesty.tech/) and ask there. if you are using the the smart effector you do not need the mini IR sensor as the smart effector has a built in z probe.by tolar250 - Delta Machines
its up to you, they are both the same arms.by tolar250 - Delta Machines
i ordered mine from hayden via this google groups thread . you can buy them with either printed ends or machined delrin ends. i went with the derlin ends, but people run the printed ones just fine. the delrin ends are more expensive.by tolar250 - Delta Machines

the top and bottom plates are made from .25" (6.35mm) 6061 aluminum. bed is made from .25" (6.35mm) mic6 aluminum. for the bed do not used standard aluminum plate make sure it is a cast aluminum like mic6, atp5 or alca5.by tolar250 - Delta Machines
this is my first delta so i decided to build a smaller one first. it is about 750mm tall with a 200mm x 260mm max print area. i designed everything myself and had 713maker cut all the plates. i will at some point redesign it and eliminate the existing corners, but that wont be for a while.by tolar250 - Delta Machines

the heatbreak is the same between the regular v6 and the volcano, i an running a volcano with the screw top on my smart effector with a nimble on my delta. so far the nimble has performed well. flex3drive also makes a smart effector variant of there remote direct drive extruder as well. you really cant go wrong with either of those or the bondtech.by tolar250 - Delta Machines
i was having the same issue with a newly built delta with a smart effector, and what i ended up doing was changing the dive height in the M558 to something more conservative like 50 to 100 mm, and then changed it back to a shorter distance once the auto-calibration ran and the settings were saved.by tolar250 - General

i dont believe that tooling plate has a grade like rolled plate does. tooling plate is cast, stress relieved then milled flat, while your typical aluminum plate is just rolled. you may be able to take a piece of a 6061 or 7075 and have it surfaced at a machine shop, but i dont know what it will do with repeated heat cycles. tooling plate has a few trade names Mic 6® (a registered trademarkby tolar250 - Reprappers
