.25 mm is a rather large gap that will mess up your prints. If you can't get a more even printbead you should use automatic bed levelling to compensate. The number of mounting points is not realy an important factor in this. As long as the plate is not planar 3 or 4 mount points make no difference. If the plate is planar it is easier to adjust the level with 3 mount points, but it is perfectly povon Srek - General

235°C / 80°C is on the low side for ABS, i usually print at 245°C / 105°C. Do you have an enclosure? Without enclosure you will have cool environment air cooling down the upper parts while the lower parts remain hot due to the heatbed. This will produce extreme warp like the one you saw in the first prints. Going down with the print and bed temperature will reduce this, but the layer adhesion andvon Srek - Printing

A realy nice and small printer is the Tiny from Protoworx It does not come with a housing, but that is rather easy to add. The print results are among the best i have ever seen from a FDM machine.von Srek - Reprappers

If you use the Marlin version SKR offers on Github you should not need to change anything. If you are using standard Marlin you need to adjust according to the SKRs version. By default Marlin uses Serial port 0 for host communication, while SKR uses port 2. My first thought is that you might have configured the new firmware incorrectly. Wrong serial port and/or display type can lead to the symptoms.von Srek - General

I'll have to check, this is the first time i use the 5160 drivers. The thing that wonders me most is that the exact same printer worked fine with a RADDS, until i had an electronics failure and had to replace the board. I used the same basic settings for speed and acceleration i used with the RADDS and with the RUMB in the second identical printer. Due to that i never thought that speed or accelevon Srek - General
THANK YOU! I have no idea why this only happens on this board, i have three other printers running marlin 2 on a SKR 1.3 or RUMBA and i never had this problem. Some initial movements are in slow mo now, but i can live with this in exchange for a working printervon Srek - General
Unsurprisingly they went back on that statement and gave me some changes to pins.h that actually made a difference. It only shifted the problem though. Now z homing works fine, but the moment i execute gcode from file Z does not move. If i manually enter gcode all axis including Z move fine, it is only with printing from file that z does not work.
