My printer was from a KickStarter called the "PrintXel". And yes the designer did make his own hotend. When he is done moving he will be able to send out a replacement for the cracked one. I am having the same-ish problem with the Prusa i3 files. I d/l'ed the zip file but when I look at the .scad files they arn't parts, but whole assembalies i.e. the x axis or Y axis. I hope FenderBender got his files sorted out.by BoriSpider - Reprappers

Software to run the machine is free. Plastic you can print with it are PLA, ABS, and maybe even PolyCarbonate. You might be able to reproduce some parts but not as many as you can with a RepRap. Not sure on build area size, maybe 5"-ish cubed.by BoriSpider - Florida, Orlando RepRap User Group

Ok, an update on my Printxel printer from Kickstarter. I got the bot on 7/26/12 and spent 7hrs putting it together. Then on 7/27 did a couple of test prints and this was the 3rd. attempt. Here is the printer in action pt.1 & 2by BoriSpider - Florida, Orlando RepRap User Group
