andromedabots Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Removing it will mess with the space-time > continuum pmsl, love it another question why do i have two trimpots on the drivers and which is the one i adjust, and best method on first start up when motors get attachedby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
is there any guides out there for using your multimeter testing voltages and and other associated to make sure everything setup correctly, I am new to electronics and i know how important it is to check things thoroughly, basically points and place where i put the probes onto what it checks for and maybe a general value what it should be i don't want to send wrong voltages to anything lol Cheerby chris33 - Controllers
well people say that its fake but why cannot the concept work a dynamo generates elecric by coils in magnetsby chris33 - General
why not if isnt being used whats the point of it being thereby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
yeah id love too run it from something like this Magnet generator creating a eco generator be the next step I reckon probably start make prototypes once my printers builtby chris33 - General
its ok i have a psu i aint going down the road with the atx psu im going hack a 360 psu, im just going to use the atx power unit to check my motors with my ramps when they arrive.by chris33 - General
yes here's the link to the WIKIby chris33 - General
i plugged in my ramps too it because I have not got my motors yet I just got the led to flash in sync i the the funduino board by the simple script, i know it doesn't give me a better picture the ramps works fully but its 1 step closerby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
another querie my ramps has 5 stepper drivers i understand to my knowledge you only need 4 1 for for both z one for x one y one for extruder i see that on board it has E0/E1 i gather extruder 1 and 2 so can i remove the spare from the board and keep it safe for sparesby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
well i need long wires they on dispatch lolby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
this is the actual thing i want too achieve eventually but smaller to power repraps heres the link fueless engineby chris33 - Let's design something! (I've got an idea ...)
ok i went for the kill no smoke and the blue led blinks with the arduino so that 1st plus no fire that's 2nd plusby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
I use a high temp grease only cos I work in a bearing manufacturing, i wouldn't use wd40 either or oilby chris33 - General
im only plugging my arduino in the usb if I add on my ramps board will I damage the ramps board obviously id unplug the arduino firstby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
yes I tested the light with a simple blink code on the arduino the problem I found is its a fundunio mega 2560 uncertain it will be compatible with the ramps, so i just wondered if the was a test script i could make something flash on the ramps via the board just to check the ramps tooby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
because stainless steel doesn't rust, its smooth and using sand paper would remove material from the barby chris33 - Reprappers
is there a way i can check that my ramps have some sort of power just through usb and that the firmware is communicating with each other without motors cheersby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
ok no problem i got the led to blink thats a start lolby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
Hi i have not built my printer yet my motors have not arrived but i have my arduino and my ramps what can i start uploading firmware are wait until my printers built just want to power the thing up see it works using the usb as i wont be connecting cheers and is there a wiki on setting up your arduino cheersby chris33 - RAMPS Electronics
i had mine water jetted (before i found out the dxf i had the holes was 3.25mm as i stated) didn't want to risk getting burrs on the cut. the water jet tolarences are +/-0.2mm so my next frame the holes are going to do 2mm, but in all saying that mine is m4 and i dont have a problem i changed the rp parts to take m4by chris33 - General
if you want to make a weapon you would make one with any other means any way, i've seen it my self with the paper cross bow and lighter cannon which shoot out home made darts out of q tips, 3d printing wont effect anything different ive seen printed guns and yes im appaled but if you in the us maybe but for an non gun country then no that's bad, but like i said if there wasn't 3d printing technolby chris33 - General
it may have been fixed now but original they was 3.5 but like i said no biggy i tapped them to m4 and changed the parts here what i got so far motors and arduino and smooth bar and threaded rod on the wayby chris33 - General
thought it was only me lolby chris33 - For Sale

i probably hack a 360 psu later on, but just to check the electronics ill use the psu for nowby chris33 - General
to be honest i am going to use this power supply just to check the equipment like the ramps and the motors, once the motors and the arduino arriveby chris33 - General
havn't got the heat bed yet thats nxt months purchaseby chris33 - General
