I guess it really doesn't matter You can use Marlin.ino also or even the configuration H fileby cnc dick - Reprappers
Did you try the Marlin.pde yet try itby cnc dick - Reprappers
yes just like the first video that you were supposed to look at yes try it hopefully your board is connecting all right. You still might have to go to your device manager in your computer and find out what comport in baud rate it's using the Arduino board.by cnc dick - Reprappers
Let me try to explain this the marlin you talked about for the I3 is the download of the firmware that is not what you're going to upload to the board that is going to be Marlin.pde file which is inside that marlin folder which you have downloaded . You do this through the Arduino file open Marlin.pde upload this isn't that difficultby cnc dick - Reprappers
That is for For downloading the program unzip it now just forget about everything concerning i3 this firmware is a totally generic per machine except for configuration file. I don't know where you got that information what you're going to look for is if you using Marlin is Marlin.pde after you download Marlin to your computer click on it if you board is connecting to computer okay have you lookedby cnc dick - Reprappers
Okay I did a little more research for you there is a special USB driver for AMD 64 so in the device manager of your computer you want to go the Arduino and go update driver manually find driver and then go to the Arduino folder go to drivers in there you will see USB AMD 64 driver in your computer and pickby cnc dick - Reprappers
Let me if I can put this into words the I thought I explained this is pretty good in the last reply to this post but I will try again first thing when you go into Arduino that you are ready have obviously from inside Arduino in other words after it's open under file go to open go to where your Marlin file is on your computer. Look in marlin folder for a file named Marlin.pde double-click the screby cnc dick - Reprappers
Sorry I don't mean to sound mean but tens of thousands of people don't have that much trouble .Open Arduino under file click the open in the Marlin folder look for marlin.pde double-click on it it should come up in your open Arduino have your printer plugged in via USB and upload. Do not unplug the USB for a while it's going to take a little bit of time too get loaded to the board if I remember cby cnc dick - Reprappers
Using the belt is a rack is not a very good idea there's a lot of lash and there is only one tooth engaged at a time. They are meant to be wrapped around the pulleyby cnc dick - Developers
and this I prefer to use marlin but you can choose whatever you likeby cnc dick - Reprappers
click this do you know how to use the Internetby cnc dick - Reprappers
There was a couple links posted here did you look at them they will show you where to download it and how to install itby cnc dick - Reprappers
If saguinoloiu 1.2 is what your computer guy installed it is wrong if you don't have that board yes you have to install the correct firmware. Like we said there are many videos out there showing you how to do thisby cnc dick - Reprappers
First things first which board do you have do you have the Arduino mega. On 3dczar site that's what they stated they had as a standard with the ramps 1.4. You're going to have to learn firmware anyway because every printer needs to be calibrated. There are numerous videos out there showing you how to download it and install it to your Arduino with ramps 1.4 and then change your settings from insiby cnc dick - Reprappers
You did listen to me before Instead of learning the firmware which you were going to have to learn anywayby cnc dick - Reprappers

Hate to tell you this but I don't care what he says sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about. Do you know what electronics package you have as far as connecting to it this is pretty rudimentary. And it's a crock when he says they come preloaded some did a while ago but not anymore almost nothing comes preloaded. What kind of PC do you have is it a Mac what operating system do you haveby cnc dick - Reprappers
The computer guy doesn't know what he's talking about why don't you find what kind of boards you have learn what to do yourselfby cnc dick - Reprappers
Quotepontifex500 And there is no solution for solving the warping problem???Even if I leave smaller nozzle and layer heihgt, make the heated chamber and I let it print more then 2 weeks??? (I cant make it with smaller parts and then gluing pieces together because bumpers would not be hard enough and elastic enough to pass minimum technical needs for car registration)by cnc dick - Mechanics
Quotenophead QuoteWhy would a board put power to something when not told to when it only does it with that specific heater? I don't think it can. What you describe seems impossible. Do you have a multimeter? If so measure the voltage accross the heater terminals before connecting the heater and after. If it reads zero with nothing connected and then goes to 12V with just the heater connected acby cnc dick - General

I would say that small companies probably breaking the law and I always wondered why they weren't worried too much about lawsuits. But if you've ever had anything to do with the certification process you'd understand why by rights it is very thorough. Certification this talk is ridiculous this stuff was certified would cost 10 times more. If You want something that certified spend the 20 K and buy a professional machine. For the most part these machines don't even have electrical enclosures no thermal fuses or correct grounding. Getting something certified is a very expensive long drawn out thingby cnc dick - General
Yes as long as it's not touching any thing and if it doesn't heat up check your thermistor wires in the hot end make sure none of them are touching ground. You might have to go all the way back to the board make sure you don't have a bad wire going to ground. But check for any continuity on the heater leads to the metal of the heater they should be none. If you do cartridge is no goodby cnc dick - General
Quotecnc dick Just check that the heater cartridge is not shorted to the metal on the cartridge. If I remember right solid doodle is all metal the original hot end was probably insulated from the machine with peak barrier. Try plugging it in and not attaching it to machine or touching it to the machine and see if it does the same thing. It is definitely something to think about for all of us whoby cnc dick - General

I said over two weeks of course that's just a estimate but two weeks would be minimum. With Prints that big even with a heated chamber there is a lot of warping you would be better off making them in small sections gluing it together. But it's really not the right thing to do for what you want most masters anything that size are machined. Increasing your nozzle size and layer height is going to gby cnc dick - Mechanics
A car bumper that would take over two weeks 24 hours a day I don't think that's a good idea. With the standard electronics using Nema 23's rated at about an amp and a half should be around 170 ounce inch or so quite a bit more than the nema 17 because of the mechanical advantage of the size of the motor. Still may not be powerful enough depends on how large and how heavy you make it. I would suggby cnc dick - Mechanics
BTW, there is a lot of chatter about how screws can cause banding and other issues. If you rigidly mount both ends of your rails and leave one end of your screw free, there is no chance of this causing you grief.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- you are dby cnc dick - Mechanics
