The menu system is very flexible and easy to modify. You will need to edit uimenu.h which has some instructions in it. You can choose to modify the current "page3" and add the 3rd extruder line or even add a new page, look at the top of the file there is a lot of information you can potentially display. In UIMenu.h you will need to scroll down to around line 178 (in my v0.91) which looks like Uby sdavi - Repetier
I wouldnt worry about a cooling fan just yet, usually you dont use it on the first few layers anyway. Assuming its leveled and the z endstop is correctly set, one thing to check is to make sure the print surface is clean, a wipe over with acetone works well. If you have a heated printbed, a temp of about 50-70C is usually good for PLA.by sdavi - Australia, Sydney RUG
What slicer are you using? Have you made sure the correct temperature and filament diameter is configured in your slicer software? Have you checked your Esteps, i.e. put a mark on the filament say 100mm from the extruder entry, choose to manually extrude 50mm at the correct temperature and measure if the line has moved down 50mm? When you say it doesnt extrude while printing, does everythingby sdavi - Australia, Sydney RUG
That's a big space saving going to the stripped down c version and its quite responsive too! I also like the inverted selection. Couple of little things: * When the 2nd ext or heatbed is disabled the text is out of alignment as its got the 2 extra characters. Just need to change the ---/--- to -----/--- for them both * There is also the old u8glib header include still in the ino which will cauby sdavi - Repetier
Sounds great. Yeah the animations are just switched between updates. I was mainly just trying to get a layout that squeezed in all the important info into one screen and it was a bit difficult to make it dynamic like the current menus (i.e if you only have one extruder how should it be rearranged etc), so it ended up being a bit hardcoded.by sdavi - Repetier
I've just uploaded (github) an update, based on your latest dev version, which now adds a status display page with, X,Y,Z, Ext1+2, heatbed, cooling fan, SD card progress, status line, buffer and feedrate multiplier all on one screen. Added some animated icons in the fonts for extruder, heatbed and fan, and, added a progress bar like display for the fan and SD Card After some testing i found thby sdavi - Repetier
KLee, have you tried setting extrusion width and infill extrusion width to 0.4 (assuming you have the 0.4mm nozzle)? Also, have you measured the 3mm filament with calipers to make sure it is 3mm, some of the "3mm" is actually around 2.85mm? I initially had problems when i changed over to the E3D, gaps in infill etc, but i eventually found that my stepper driver was overheating (wasnt a problemby sdavi - General
You will have to provide more details about what the problem is with the extruder, without it we cant help you. I.e. Does it make grinding noises? Shredding filament? Not moving at all etc Have you set the correct ESteps yet? Are you using the correct temperature for the filament ? I would suggest ruling out each part one by one. Remove hobbed bolt and hotend, and check if filament can move thby sdavi - Australia, Brisbane RepRap User Group
I have attached the new font BDF and the new generated header file. Also now with the new code 7 - printer ready. I currently use "fontforge" to draw the characters and it can also save to BDF. The BDF is just a text file so its also easy to copy and paste from the other fonts in a text editor. U8Glib has a "bdf2u8g" tool and i use the params "-b 0 -e 255" as it defaults to starting at 32 and wby sdavi - Repetier
I actually committed a new font today based on the u8g 6x10 font and copied over the arrow, folder etc characters from the other fonts and also created a temperature character, which will save space instead of including all the 3 fonts. They are currently in positions \001-\006 which matched the previous code. I have also noticed it is much slower, i will try printing with it hopefully sometimby sdavi - Repetier
I have added initial support (for AVR version) for the reprapdiscount full graphic controller using the development branch here: github It is using u8glib (which needs to be downloaded) and custom font with the "extra" characters in the same character locations 1-6 as with the other LCDs. The FEATURE_CONTROLLER is currently set to 22 and shares the same pin config as the smart controller. It endby sdavi - Repetier
