Hi Simon! Lutjanusby lutjanus - Elektrik & Elektronik
Hi Paul, I posted a solution for the SD card problem some days ago - but in the german part of the forum. But by using the images on thepictures I added you should be able to modify your adaptor. Here's the link: Solution for Megatronics 2.0 and external SD cheers, Lutjanusby lutjanus - Reprappers
I'm working on a mixing-nozzle for up to three bowden "injectors" and one central heatblock with a single mixing chamber. I'd like to have a result which is reliable, maintainable, and lightweight (for faster printing - the cold end extruder shouldn't be on the moving part). When thinking of one single nozzle there's always a small con, because of the single temperature which makes the (parallel)by lutjanus - General
Normally the A4988 have some protection which should help to avoid killing them... but anyhow: The easiest way to check if something is broken... change one hardware piece at a time and test again. The cheapest (and most likely damaged) part is the stepper driver. But before buying (and paying for "lessons learned") a new driver you should check the output current (by checking the contol voltageby lutjanus - Controllers
Hi Rigor, thanks for you reply! I GOT IT WORKING! And thanks for the warning about the 5V bridge, I removed it before testing! Here are some details - for all who wish to add the automatic leveling by using the Megatronics 2.0: Basically you need three things: +5V, GND and a Atmega port which is capable of PWM (pulsewidth modulation). According to the Atmega Datasheet on the 2560 for example tby lutjanus - Controllers
Hallo zusammen. Lutjanusby lutjanus - Elektrik & Elektronik
Hi everyone! I'd like to implement an auto leveling function which requires to connect a servo to the electronics .Does somebody know where and how to connect the servo to the megatronics 2.0 board? Can it be done on one of the AUX ports? Thanks for your help! Lutjanusby lutjanus - Controllers
Klar, kein Problem, schick Deine Adresse rüber.
2. Im Menü "Init. SD.Card" klicken 3. Im Menü "Print from SD-Card" wählen.by lutjanus - Elektrik & Elektronik
Danke schonmal!by lutjanus - Elektrik & Elektronik
Hi everyone, I'm using an ORCA V.042 with a wade extruder, 1,75mm PLA and 0.35 nozzle. The printing quality with the newest version of repetier-host (slicing with slic3r) is ok, but on the edges (right angle) a loop is created, like there's too much material or mechanical cause when changing direction. I checked the hardware, everything seems ok. Does somebody know what to to or what causes thisby lutjanus - Printing
Hi everybody! A colleague of mine needs some parts to pimp his plastic model kit. But they need to be very small - just some milimeters. Is it possible to do so small parts with an prusa / orca mendel ? Has somebody already tried and are there any reccomendations, tips for that? Where are the limits? Thanks already for your comments! Lutjanusby lutjanus - General Mendel Topics
I'm just screwing them in so that they're just "looking out" of the nuts 2-3 windings. That's enough pressure for the 1,75mm extruder. I also figured out that 220°C is enough for slower prints, but the nozzle gets stuck at higher speeds. So I use about 230°C for faster prints. By the way: Have us uploaded the firmware with the correct numbers (variables for) the V10 extuder? You can check that iby lutjanus - General Mendel Topics
Congratulations! please post which temp works for your extruder v10. I have to use 230°C.by lutjanus - General Mendel Topics

I connected the both fans in parallel on the header, the pin in the outer corner is plus. It works, but I haven't tested any fan controling. That's what it's looking like: Electronics Assembly The tube is used as a guidance help for the filament on the spool holder to the extruder. I unfortunately can't enlighten you, but I installed 0.8.3 last evening (windows version) and it's just working fine on my computer printing on an orca mendel 0.4.2. Not compareable to the 0.8.2 version which made no fun using (shifted layers, gaps in the print,...). They made some changes in the wording for the bottom (now called first) layer, so you could take a look to your config again. Probby lutjanus - Slic3r
The value for the Configuration.h of gen6 deluxe firmware (Marlin V1.0.0...) is: 136.5 for the extruder wich has to be changed in the following line: #define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT {32.05, 32.05, 960, 136.5} // default steps per unit x, y, z, eby lutjanus - General Mendel Topics
Yeah, Z-Axis is somewhat reduced to minimum , but it works. If I move the platform downwards, it makes some screeching noise but works, I already tried do minimize the torsion by unfasten / fasten the housing with the z-axis nuts, but the noise stays the same... If you upload the firmware to the gen6 deluxe board (download from mendel-parts.com), then you have to change the values for the z-axisby lutjanus - General Mendel Topics
I put everything together first. Just a raw alignment (moves everything smooth?). Then x,y,z in centre positions. Ousted pronterface to test everything. First small steps for every axis, then home (with the hand on the master power switch. I also updated the firmware of the controller on the printer, because my board was prepared for v040 which needs different values for the z-axis and the extrudby lutjanus - General Mendel Topics
I had the same prob with my 042. There was some plastic debris in the housing. I used a small screwdriver to make it fit. You also need some 'convincing' force to press the nut into the housing.by lutjanus - General Mendel Topics
OK, now here are some pictures: Here are both pipe already installed and the "spacer"-plastic part is inserted between the pipes into the plastic cylinder. This creates a heat barrier so that the upper part stays colder. Now use the long drill (for my 1,75mm extruder it is the 2mm size) and drill a hole into the spacer-plastic. Add heater-block, nozzle and nuts... Heating sensor and heatby lutjanus - General Mendel Topics
There is a small round piece of plastic coming with the kit. It is the same Material as the big plasticpart which connects the two pipe-pieces. Put one tube in, then the distance plastic part. Then the other tube. Now use the long drill to make a hole the distance-piece. This hole has now the exact size as the inner diameter of the pipes. I finished my extruder and it works brilliant.
