Prusa blaming poor little Slic3r! It's your use of hairspray on the bed. Really. Strange as it sounds. (For #4 above). -Jeffby jebba - Printing

For #4, are you using hairspray, perchance? It can shrink the lower layers.by jebba - Printing
There is a new carriage uploaded to the lulzbot forum that makes some parts print cleaner. You have some things there that I have never seen before though. Looks like way too much material or something.by jebba - Printing
We have weekly tours at Aleph Objects / LulzBot every Friday at 2PM. Feel free to come check us out, map here: -Jeffby jebba - Colorado, Denver RepRap User Group

> One does have to wonder though - you can build this for $800 or I could have just ordered a 12x16x10" RigidBot for $855. They claim Oct delivery. The only 3D printer kickstarter I'm aware of that has delivered all the kickstarter-ordered printers is Printrbot. I wouldn't hold your breath, especially if they aren't sharing their design/code/BOM/etc.by jebba - General
Here's one just uploaded recently: Here's the thread about it on the Lulz forum:by jebba - Reprappers
uk-3dprinting: we are likely not going to have printed parts in our store for awhile. I'm guessing if you printed a set and sold them on ebay or similar, you would get interest, as we get people asking for sets.by jebba - Wanted
The TK-0 is now TAZ. The files for batch 1 are here: The files for batch 2, which is in progress and subject to change, are here:by jebba - Wanted
It looks like Z wobble. I'm surprised you are seeing it to that extreme on an AO-101. Here's a nice article about Z artifacts in general: It isn't just one thing--there are a lot of variables involved, each which need to be tuned out. We improved from the AO-100 to the AO-101 by changing the x-end clamps. We improved from the AO-101 to TAZ by making the threaded rod *much smaller*, the smooby jebba - General
No plastic sets coming from us for the near future. We're printing lots for assembled machines. I'd encourage folks to print them and sell them on ebay or emaker or wherever they like.by jebba - General
TAZ (development codename TK-0) was released today. See: All the final source files are here. It is 2.0 gigs pared down from 6.9 gigs in TK-0's devel dir: It is also available via rsync, if that's your thing: rsync://download.lulzbot.com/lulzbot/TAZ/by jebba - General
The LulzBot Buda 2.0 doesn't require any active cooling for PLA, even if it is just sitting there in the nozzle.by jebba - Printing
The M8 x 175mm threaded rod is for the spool holder. The Tubing is for the Z motor couplers.by jebba - General

@leorex: We've built Bowden extruders before but we never liked them since we could never perfect retraction. I'm kind of surprised there are so many people using Bowdens, actually. I do notice that the Bowden machines frequently use vases for sample prints. @kakaroto: Ya, the text on that page is really showing its age. I'll go through and clean it up. FYI, the first draft of a dual head extruder mount for a TK-0 was printed today (or maybe over the weekend). It doesn't quite work yet, but it is getting closer. There's really not that much to it. It us going front/back instead of side-to-side as the TK-0 has more space on Y to put one.by jebba - General

Can you send me (via here or pm as you like) the email address and/or Subject: from your email so I can look it up? What do you consider "very, very late"? We generally answer within 1 business day, but typically if it is during business hours it will be within an hour or two. Sincerely, -Jeffby jebba - Wanted

@konwiddak: no samples at the moment, other than random shots from the TK-0 dev page. Seth recently turned down jerk quite a bit I think, and that really helps with the resonance. @sls2go: no idea. I don't really follow the proprietary printers nor have I ever used one. @xiando: we are using M6 threaded rod not ACME. We are using the same NEMA 17s we've been using for a couple years now or so,by jebba - General
Lots of questions piled up, I'll try to get to them all: @kakaroto: Ya, dual extruder would be rad. It won't have it when released, but perhaps down the road. The AO-100/101 had a nice dual system done by a user (sjkelly), so maybe the same thing will happen here. For the TK-0 it should be even easier. > at least the stl for printing the new head adpater I'm not quite sure what you mean thby jebba - General
