Hi, thanks for the reply. Yes I have the old V6 hotend spare - Bought 2 hotends from netherlands about 3 years ago. But when I ordered my delta, I also ordered the newer V6 heater block with thermistor cartridge - and are set correctly in firmware. M303 Pid tuning was done and temperature will maybe go up/down 1 degree , but 99% of the time its stable at the set temperature. Don`t know man - mayby Bking1340 - Printing
Good day all Bought a Anycubic Linear plus delta 2 months ago and upgraded the hotend to a original e3d v6 and replaced extruder with a titan straight out of the box. I basically waisted 2kg of filament and 2 months of time trying to fine tune my printer and then replaced the titan with the stock extruder and all my problems went away. It either over extrude with blobs zits or under extrude onby Bking1340 - Printing
Good day all Have downloaded bugfix-2.0.x from When printing a xyz calibration cube I get a surface problems as per attached picture. This defect will be printed when the xyz cube are exactly in the middle of my delta printer build plate and only on the Y axis - when I move it 30mm left/right/front/back - no problems. This told me that there are a mechanical problem. The anycubic linerar plusby Bking1340 - Firmware - Marlin
Good day all Have build 3 cartesian (prusa I3) printers and 2 delta`s for myself and family. Only have a fully upgraded prusa left and need/want something else. I have $500 to play with. Would love to try out a corexy type printer, but not on top of my list: Flyingbear P902 / Folger tech FT-5 (wanted to buy the FT-5, but have recently read some bad reviews) / FLSun Cube. Then I also checked outby Bking1340 - General
Good day all My 40mm pla cooling fan are connected to D9 on my ramps 1.4. Sometimes during a print while my fan change rpm, I get this pwm noise. Do anybody know what can be changed in Marlin and to what to make the stupid noise go away. I have an idea that it`s someting to do with: #define SOFT_PWM_SCALE 0 or #define FAST_PWM_FAN or #define FAN_SOFT_PWM, but am not sure. While the fan are fullby Bking1340 - RAMPS Electronics
Good day all I`m printing mostly in pla, due to my 12v bed heating up to 100 for abs taking about 15 minute. My bed takes 3-4 minutes to 50 for pla (Just quicker/easier). Never tried any other filament types. Have a original E3D V6 which never gave me any problems with pla/abs. Can you pro`s tell me what is the easiest to more difficult filament to print with your extruder/bed temperatures, forby Bking1340 - Plastic Extruder Working Group
Good day all Have been printing from my reprap full graphics smart controller due to my wife using the tumble dryer and my prints will stop when connected to my pc. It`s been working great - I slice my object with simplify3d or slic3r - send the gcode to my sdcard and print from my screen. Have one issue - my bed temperature are set to 45 for 1st layer and 40 for the next layers in my slicers stby Bking1340 - RAMPS Electronics
Did you try any other colour? I`m printing with esun pla and when I print in white, I have the same ribs (or z wobble that was mentioned) and my prints looks exactly like yours, I can change over to silver or blue esun pla with exactly the same settings and the same prints are as smooth as a baby`s butt. Think I have E steps issues with white, temperature issues or my white pla drank too much watby Bking1340 - Printing
Thanks dc, think this will make life easier till I can play around with some fsr sensors. I have some small savox digital servo`s laying around, maybe I must try a z probe move aswell.by Bking1340 - Delta Machines
No it`s most of the times a different axis or at g x0 y0 z0. But it`s minimal - Normally before I print I check my level. I home, then g x0 y0 z1 and move z slowly down to 0 with the paper test. I home and do the same for xyz towers and sometimes one of the towers or middle will be a paper thickness too high or too low after a 3-4 hour print. If this happens, I must re-upload my firmware with theby Bking1340 - Delta Machines
Good day all Did my 1st few prints on my Kossel mini clone and it almost print better than my top notch Prusa I3 with almost twice the speed. The prints really came out great - CALIBRATION WAS A PAIN - I only did firmware changes (Delta arm mm etc) and played around with the mechanical endstops set screws on top of each arm. Did not play around with eeprom, m666 and and... After a print I must rby Bking1340 - Delta Machines
I have seen one on thingiverse for a e3d v6 which also have a extension so that your bowden coupling can be connected on the plastic - must maybe 1st try that one - will post a pic when I`m finished - if not I will come and cry for help againby Bking1340 - Delta Machines
Good day all Have finished building my kossel mini clone. Tested my ramps 1.4 with prusa I3 firmware. With M119, it shows min=open and max=trigerred for all 3 endstops - when I move my cariages up, M119 shows min=triggered and max=triggered. I know it`s the wrong firmware, but my endstop switches seems to work. Now I load Marlin 1.02 with my modified delta config. Now M119 show only max=open foby Bking1340 - Delta Machines
Yes I have a prusa I3 that prints excellent. That will be apreciated.by Bking1340 - Delta Machines
Good day all Almost finished with my He3d delta (Kossel clone). The delta came with a jhead hotend. I have 2 E3D V5 hotends doing nothing - problem is they are direct drive. Is there a way to use my e3d v5 on my delta. Maybe something like a end effector that holds the e3d and on top of the end effector a place to screw in the bowden coupling?by Bking1340 - Delta Machines
Good day all Bought a He3d delta printer and got a assembly guide with it, but the wiring seems to be misleading. Im not used to the colour orientation of the stepper motors with the wiring diagram I got with the printer. As per attached he3d wiring, seen from the opposite side from 12v power in – red/blue/black/green for the xyz axis and red/blue/green/black for the extruder motor (the black anby Bking1340 - RAMPS Electronics
Good day all Bought myself a RepRapDiscount Full Graphic Smart Controller and did my 1st sd card print which were a success. BUT! When slicing my second model and uploading the second model to my sd card via usb cable (Which takes too long - must get a sd card reader) with simplify3d, the second model don`t want to print from my sd. If I click on print on my lcd, it just goes to the main screenby Bking1340 - Reprappers
Thanks guys. I`m from South Africa, but did not check the correct shipping(dumb ass!) - Just emailed e3d-online and waiting for a reply on what shipping details I must provide: house or p o box, but it seems I will be able to get it shipped from them without hassles.by Bking1340 - General
Good day all The original e3d v6 website shipping to me are almost the same price as a full extruder kit. Is there any other websites where I can order a original E3D V6? - Must be 1.75mm direct drive. Thanksby Bking1340 - General
Thanks all then I will do some reading on the cherry pi - any good build links?by Bking1340 - Delta Machines
Good day all Have some experience in a Prusa I3, but want to venture into building a delta. I want to use linear smooth rods, gt2 belts, round heating bed etc - size does not really matter. The richrap 3dr are a nice build, but seems like I would have to do some modification to use gt2 belts as his build uses spectra fishing line. Any suggestions or links of a nice build? Thanksby Bking1340 - Delta Machines
Good day all I just finished a 5 hour print on my prusa i3. My Z motors are ambient, Y and X is just above ambient, but my extruder motor are a bit hot. I`m about 20 years into the rc hobby and was forced a few years back to get a $250 temperature gun which are spot on, on accuracy. If I spot check the extruder motor, it`s between 50 and 52 degrees celcuis. Too hot?by Bking1340 - Mechanics
Thanks Will do some more reading - think I will also get myself a few pounds of plaby Bking1340 - Printing
Good day all Did my 1st test print and some reading on the wiki. Bought a I3 Prusa: 0.4 nozzle 1.75 filament - printing abs on 110 bed and 240 extruder temperature. I have imported a prusa.ini config file to repetier-host sli3er that came with the printer. Layer height = 0.3 etc. If you look at the tiny bunny - both rear legs/butt and back are nice and smooth, but underneath his tail and just aby Bking1340 - Printing
