Also I have tried to view (in 3D tab) slic3r's g-code using site and I can not see anything that would make me worry.by roboprint - Delta Machines
I'm sorry, I forgot to specify mm/sec. I have attached zip-file with openscad file, stl file and sliced g-code (I'm using 0.3 mm height and 150% infill for first layer), all settings are available at the end of g-code file. Also I can attach Cura slicing profile for this model. For vase I'm using this model: I do not remember what uniform scale I used for model, but real printed height of modby roboprint - Delta Machines
1) Yes, I'm printing from SD card (I upload files manually via FTP and then select needed file via WebUI and print). Upload speed for card is => 300 KB/second, download speed is much faster (don't remember, about 900 KB/sec) 2) No, I have changed this values after moving to Duet board: Original parameters from Repetier firmware EEPROM: 2500.000 = Print acceleration 2500.000 = Travel accelerby roboprint - Delta Machines
David, after moving to Duet electronics I'm experiencing some type of issues that I can not explain to myself. I'm using Kossel Mini with your fork RepRapFirmware 1.09d-dc42. There is part of my config: M665 R105.08 L214.350 B90 H236.31 X-0.20 Y-0.98 M666 X-1.26 Y0.56 Z0.70 ; put your endstop adjustments here, or let auto calibration find them M92 X100 Y100 Z100 ; Set axis steps/mm M906 Xby roboprint - Delta Machines
I apologize for what I said is not very accurate. My microSD HC card is class 6 and card size is 4GB (not 8GB as I said before). Cluster size is 32 KB (according to chkdisk and diskpart), filesystem is FAT32. I have uploaded 14173184 bytes of python-2.6.msi distro for 47.42 seconds via FTP plugin. So average speed is about 298 886 bytes/second. Far manager showing right speed.by roboprint - Controllers
QuotezombiepantslolI for one get ~190-200kb/s for file upload (both for HTTP and FTP transfers), but when I eventually find the limiting bottleneck in the firmware I don't know is Far Manager showing right speeds, but there is 280-300 kilobytes/second in my setup with Duet and latest dc42 firmware branch. What stepper motors and stepper motor current settings are you using? I'm using Wantai 42BYGHW811 for X/Y/Z towers (1.8/step, 2.5A rated current, 4800 g-cm holding torque (47 Ncm)). It looks like overkill for Kossel Mini, but this motors was in printer kit. When I used RAMPS 1.4 + A4988 drivers (without heatsinks but with cooler), I just set up currents so that motors were a bit warm (about 35-by roboprint - Delta Machines
Thank yor for additional M665 params. It is now possible to save calibration results and print without bed leveling. Also, results of calibration is slightly differs, is it ok? I hardcoded "M665 R105.08 L214.350 B90 H236.31 X-0.20 Y-0.98" and "M666 X-1.26 Y0.56 Z0.70" in condig file and then start G32 tests: First start after M665 and M666 filled with all params: 16:25:20 M666 Endstop adjustby roboprint - Delta Machines
David, thank you! There is first printed thing with new Duet electronics and your newest RepRapFirmware 1.09d: Visible moire rings still exists, but there is no more segmentation-dependent moire. It seems that now I need to pay attention to the mechanics.by roboprint - Delta Machines
QuoteTreitoEven the new ones? With the 5V power PCB included? Good to know... BTT: The chinese E3D replica and the most buyable thermistors (ebay, Replikeo, Robotdigg) seems to have a B-value of 3950 at 100k. David, can you provide your actual M305 P1 line for E3D v6 hotend?by roboprint - Ormerod
I have received my board from Replikeo too. Flux isn't washed, usb connector soldered correctly. Logos are hidden by glued white paper. Reading David's articles about fimware and comissioning nowby roboprint - Delta Machines

Quotedc42On my delta, the reproducibility is generally +/- 1 microstep, which is 12.5um on that machine. As I can see, you are using usual microswitches at tower endstops. Does the quality of microswitches affects quality of autocalibration using this IR sensor? What is the IR spot size on the bed? As I understand the particles of dust on bed and in the air not affect the quality of calibration?by roboprint - For Sale
Replikeo is selling Duet board with external linear 5V regulator. If I understand correctly, the board already has the regulator (5V 2A buck converter based on A4403 chip). Why they sell board with external the regulator? Photo:by roboprint - Delta Machines
Thank you for your answers, David. Looks like I'm going to buy Duet board PanelDue is looks very good, but I think it very expensive for me ($93 without shipping from T3P3D). Looks like it would be better to buy china-made 7'' tablet from aliexpress for $35-$40 to control the printer via Web. I'm also looking for mega2560+ramps1.4+LCD12864+Repetier firmware replacement for my Kossel Mini. As I understand, it is impossible to connect RRD Full Graphics LCD to Duet board? Very good results. Thank you for tests and photos. This is one more reason to start using 32-bit controllers with right firmware. I'm C++ programmer, but not very familiar with programming ARM microcontrollers. Cannot see any moire, rings or other on photos, but overall print quality is little worse, as I can understand. Layes shifted one relative to other. Oh, it is so big Infill can affect perimeter quality, so I recommend to use Slic3r's vase mode (hotend constantly moving up while printing perimeter, there is no layers with constant height).by roboprint - Delta Machines
