Hello, I'm grappling with a complex setup involving a 3-axis 3D printer with an additional 5-axis component. I'm experimenting with post-processing tasks such as part removal and other functions using these extra axes. My question is, is there a method to synchronize the homing process for these two additional axes? I'm seeking a solution akin to QUICK_HOME for the X and Y axes. Previously, I atby Ash-ta - Firmware - Marlin
hello everybody I think this is the right place to share with you my work in making a delta 3d printer the printer i made with a lot of recycled parts because i could not get what ever parts i want in my country so all parts are made in home from the body to the circuit boards to the heater cartridge here is a link to my blog that can describe all the parts please have a look and tell me whaby Ash-ta - Look what I made!
Thank you olaf Finally i found the problem or actually the two problems The first problem is that i was using an external 5v regulator and it was giving 4.5 and that makes the difference between the uno and the mega so i modified the board to give 5v from the mega voltage regulator instead of the external one and now the mega and the uno gives the same adc numbers. The second problem was inby Ash-ta - Developers
I also tried to connect the same thermistor to an uno board that has a sketch to send the adc on the pin A0 each 0.5 second it gives me about 925 in room temperature (about 27 c) And i tried the same sketch on the arduino mega used in the printer it gives me about 820 in room temperature (27 c)by Ash-ta - Developers
Hello everybody I finished making a homemade arduino mega Shield to control a delta 3d printer I have added three thermistor connectors to the shield After modefying the pins in the firmware and being sure all are same as the board schematic i tested the board and everything works well but the thermistor always shows 3.1 degrees (it looks like the A0 pin is getting about 5v) The thermistor iby Ash-ta - Developers
Thanks for your help So there is a place over the bed where the printer can't move less than a specific distance and to make it all the sam the printer limited the minimum movement to that distance in all places right??by Ash-ta - General
hello everybody i am trying to make a delta 3d printer out of recycled parts the printer uses 200 steps per revolution steppers at 1/2 step mode with xl belts (5mm pitch size) with 10 teeth pulleys so the steps per mm for this setup will be 2*200=400 steps per revolution and 5*10 =50 mm per revolution this mean the steps per mm will be 400 /50 =8 steps per mm so the resolution for each axby Ash-ta - General
here are the configuration files i used first try with marlinkimbra the file called configuration_delta.h the second file is for the original marlin notice that i dont install the extruder yet so i dont configur any of the extruder or hot end or hot bed options and for the picture: i wired all the wiring directly to the arduino mega (because i cant get ramps yet) but all things are functioninby Ash-ta - Delta Machines
Hello everybody I finished building a z probe for my homemade delta printer The printer uses ramps 1.3 and all max endstops are wired correctly and the z endstop wired to z min pins And i am using marlin kimbra firmware The probe haz a steel rod that can deploy and trigerred while it retract and can keep it self retracted using magnets (the attached pictures can describe it better) The probleby Ash-ta - Delta Machines
Hello everybody i am trying to make a delta 3d printer based on ramps and arduino mega 2560 the problem is that i can't get any stepper driver based on allegro chips because i cant find any allegro driver in my country (i live in syria) so i decided to use stepper driver 1.2 because it is based on l297 translator and l298 H-bridge (i can find both in my country , and i will connect just theby Ash-ta - RAMPS Electronics
Quotecdru You might not have heard the news lately, but there's been a conflict going on in Syria the last little while. Many countries national mailing systems have suspended mail to the country. (e.g. USPS, Austrailia Post, Canada Post). There also are various bans, embargos, restrictions, etc throughout the world due to the conflict on what can be sent. thank you for your reply and for your advice but i want to use stepper driver 1.2 because i can't find pololu drivers in my country (i live in syria) , even i cant find any allegro chip (a4988 or similar) to make one or to make a stepstick driver any other advice about a better driver without allegro chips ??by Ash-ta - Controllers
hello everybody i want to make a 3d printer based on ramps or teensylu (both can use pololu as stepper drivers) can i use stepper driver 1.2 (stepper driver 1.2) instead of polulu ? iknow what the deferent between the two drivers an i know its pinouts but the problem is that i cant find find any allegro driver ship where i live so i am thinking of redesign the main board (ramps or teensylu)by Ash-ta - Controllers
thank you so much cdru you helped me a lotby Ash-ta - Controllers
Hello everybody i am new to this forum and to 3d printing i wont to make a 3d printer based on the teensylu electronics but the problem is that where i live we don't have the AT90USB1286 i can only found the AT90USB1287 can i use the 1287 mcu instead of 1286 mcu ?? if yes should i do anything other than the instructions in the teensylu page to upload the repetier firmware ?? should i do aby Ash-ta - Controllers
