Quotemaciek117 Anyone found a solution? I have the same problem and i can't get trough it. I have changed manual home pos as well as the probe offset but nothing works for me. The only solution i came up with is G92 Z4.7 command which changes Z0 to Z4.7 and it's not very elegant. Z height. Not probe.by xile6 - Delta Machines
Not to steal ypur thread. But what determines the max build bed? If you get longer rods does that mean you can print bigger then 170mm? Is there a formual somewhere. Thanks for any helpby xile6 - Delta Machines
Quotetreloid Yeah thats why i turned off the fan because there is also en airflow on the bed because of it.. Quotetreloid Hi mates So this is my first post in this forum, but i've been reading here since a long time I have quite a lot experience with cartesian printers, but the micro make should become my first delta printer. I have the newer model with the newer effector and after a few hours of try and error the printer was working well with the standard firmware which was uploaded with cura. QuoteMrPCatt Guys, thank you for your help! So i measured several things again and uploaded a new firmware, mounted a fresh roll of PLA and now I wanted to give it a try to see if I am even close to print something (without Z-Probe). QuoteColt Thanks for the help. I was thinking that there would be a simple line defining which pins on the RAMPS went to each of the towers, but I suppose that switching the pins themself will work as well! Yes there is but why do all that when you can just change the connectors to the right spot, vs trying to keep up with them if something goes wrong. And the info is in pin.hby xile6 - Delta Machines
AS o_lampe said. Z (back) X (front left) Y (front right.) Just move the coonectors around until its right. Make sure you match the motor with the correct endstop.by xile6 - Delta Machines
I order a cyclops legendary pack so it comes with the chimera ends also. It should be hear in a week or so. I dont plan to use support filament tho, just dual color. But i was on a thread and a guy said his cyclops work pretty well for HIPS and ABS. You also use a purge tower to make sure there isnt mixing. But as said i havent try this just read it. I havent tested this myself. but i would think the sponges used for soldering irons. I use to have one and thy work well. Also when i clean my nozzle i normally heat it up and use a wet wipe., But if the wipe goes dry it will start to burn. I started out with a Auroa Z605. MY wife was going to get me a makerbot, but it was just way over price IMO. I got the Z605 and had trouble getting it up and working but once i did it was a nice printer. i added a auto leveling with an inductive sensor for a few bucks. And the printer works great. QuoteStigern Seller told me to invert my belt clips, and now with the Cura flashed firmware the .hex file it moves in the correct direction. I have done the G30 A a few times. And yes it does crash the hotend into the bed a few times. I built my printer to spec and enter them into the firmware.
