Printing issues ...
Wow cool, great price, but 2 parts half that size would probably be enough, perfect even, but obviously a redesign, but now your cooking you can figure out the next issues.

While wondering about the size of cast plate, say 310x360 I realized my current 3 points where based on the 200mm side Z 3030 profiles and the 3 points would be inside heatmat area, not an issue with the piece of wood I had (if heatmat was going ontop)but something that needed a little alteration if I want to fit a heater under an alu plate. Lucky I had 2x300mm pieces not in use. So swapped the

Yeah I just gave it a good yank...and heard the ping as the small part flashed past my vision, into the crevices of the room, tried to find something by sweeping a magnet on a stick, but no bite. So will either have to figure another way to constrain it, easier in the short direct method, or ditch the hotend, or find some circlip or ring from another & try fit it on the tube and pull back up

Perhaps, unless I do a Special Installment, ie How to BLOW UP an SKR! I think that might be more popular, maybe a NetFlix Screening?
I dropped a pre configured bin on the SD, it kinda seemed to like it...but computa say's dunno what your talkin about pal.... can't see anything down the long or the short USB cable.

Thought I'd reprint the lid, lighter settings but I knew adding the chamfer would increase the chance of a warp but I managed to de-warp it, moved the bed bearing into the dead space so I can go a little lower, but not really a lot of Z in this maybe 250 max, moved the PSU to be more central inline with bed risers helped to neaten cables, holding back on a panel/PSU box, as a one piece solution

In all the years I've never found a ptfe tube to release when pushing down on the bit that looks like it does something...in fact maybe DD can solve this one, the Hex hotend...as I pulled the tube out something went ping!! I assume it was the disc of teeth, but I never found it, now that tube has no anchor & I believe the hotend is now goosed, as that part isnt replacable...it's never even be

Imagine some politician saying we are going to build back better...a real kick in the teeth to those who thought they were doing a great job...and because they aint the ones who wrecked it, it was the politicians...time to get their hands dirty...but no higher taxes for those who cant afford to hide.

I dont have much faith in this extruder stepper, not sure it's upto the job but had it coz it was cheap 5 yrs back, and I feel sure that if I get a nicer possibly bigger black one, I aint got much wiggle room with the belt path, so that may need a rejig once again, if only I had the same idler/motor plates but with only one row of holes, I could have the belt path a little lower, or make cust

I was hoping that maglev meant less friction, less noise, but thought all worked on similar principle ie 2 parts never touching, brushless no scraping brushes but still has bearings, or maybe not just a shaft in a smooth hole. Though probably most of the noise is from the blade design.

Wish I could help, but these issues arent discussed much here, if you go to device manager does the maple driver show up? Any reason for choosing bugfix? I assume there are many...I just got the latest stable version thinking it would be ok, finally managed to load a FW but the struggle continues.

I just changed my 40mm fan for a sunon its now much louder than before maybe I got a fake, cant you just add some resistors to the line(maybe not with the maglev)

So close but yet so far...thank god I didnt go the ATOM route, VS Code & Platform IO what a pain, at first I changed a few things hit compile and it didnt want to know, eventually I have it compiling got a few errors & solved them, but this last one persists

So sticking it direct on glass is a really bad idea, i've seen a few doing it, looks like I need to find a good heatspreader, but probably wont find something suitable for much less than the price of a proper mic-6 bed support, 350x350 will complete the machine off nicely.

Is the silicone easier to remove after heating or just the same? wonder if i'll have to ditch my wood was looking forward to using it, currently looking at a 200x300 mains heater but I have 600w or 750w and it only comes with 3m, though it's not a branded keenovo.

DD has experience in this area...didnt go too well and a new one needed to be sourced, now my dilemma is with 3m or without?

Tinker Tailor Solder Buy, Now I have the bed rising to a better level I need to make a new Xcart mount to rearrange things a little, I wanted to see just how close it goes and if its level in relation to the head, it seems almost perfect in the direction between the leadscrews, and if it isnt maybe I can adjust angle via the leadscrews. as for the other direction i had noticed a tilt towards th

Depends what you have to bolt things to, rails is the answer, rods have much larger bearing blocks, though you can slim them down a little by printing housings(introducing any errors), the heavier it is the more chance of issues. I have one 12mm setup without support, pretty easy to make, I have supported 16mm on my mill setup, but all other printers are using linear rails, some using just one ra

The reason my psu's either get a new fan inside, or one fan I had was the right size but too deep, so it had to be screwed to the outside, really hoping I wont have to do it for the meanwell...but many people have.

With one print left on the roll I decided on a fan shroud/mount...this thing isnt going to like getting very hot so at some point when the ideal hotend/extruder/mount combo reveals itself to me, this will have to do for now. First ever print using support settings...failed at the end, as it was releasing from the bed, and it hit a curl.
While I get to grips with Marlin 2(deep in'it), just mod

the idler you bought benefits from being butted against something ideally 2020(just redo the arm for a few quid you get a metal motor mount) pretty sure bolts holding it all together would loosen unless super glued or something.

I bought one too, even though the plastic one was fine, I prefer the slimmed down look, time will tell if it needs upgrading with some flanged bearings instead of the pulley. I think getting the part made in metal would be costly & a mistake. Better smaller custom parts for a simpler machine would be a better investment, finding a good mounting plate for linear rails is something i'm after, s

Feeling Idle today...in all these iterations I didnt need to support both ends of shaft, all have a good combo of shaft & bearing, though some shafts could be shorter, some where just dupes when I felt the printer was spitting out nicer parts than was already in use, seems a shame none are in use, found 3 more after pics.

I think the idea is to have many problems to solve, to make printing more fun.
I thought the only reason for thee belt printer was either auto remove part or something longer than normal, but I think this ender copes with longer stuff ok
