Openscad doesn't seem to like it if you're referencing a file in another folder even if you include the full path to it so they have to all be in the same folder which is a pain. Benby plexer - General
@chriss33 basically yes also a good write here: Google hacking xbox psu Benby plexer - General
@willworkforplastic ok no probs thanks for the reply and awesome work on the metric ver I cut the case from 6mm mdf as we had it on hand. Benby plexer - Tantillus
What about although 96dpi a bit low? Benby plexer - Powder Printing and Selective Laser Sintering
Ok no probs thought it looked like a good hot end did think it might be too big. Found a MK-V on ebay for £30 so that looks like a winner. Benby plexer - Tantillus
Will this hot end fit? Benby plexer - Tantillus

Just print one of these Benby plexer - General Mendel Topics
I'm running my mendel with melzi electronics and a raspberry pi with octoprint so perhaps minitronics would be enough anyway. Minitronics does have aux connector so i2c lcd is a possibility. Benby plexer - Tantillus
I don't think the minitronics does an lcd though? seems to be a nice solution though. Benby plexer - Tantillus
Would this be any good as an electronics pack to run a tantillus ??? Ta. Benby plexer - Tantillus
Ok I know all I've done so far is print the corners and lasercut some mdf so haven't got too far yet but is there anything stopping me using say an airtrippers extruder rather than the stock one? Thanks Benby plexer - Tantillus
Hairspray, cover the bed in it problem solved. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Hehe ok not much but it's a start on my tantillus metric build. I've got all the plastic parts for a RepRapPro multi colour mendel which I am also going to be building for home and use tant as an easy to transport printer. Benby plexer - Tantillus
What about the conductive paint from bare conductive? Benby plexer - Paste Extrusion Working Group
Will it work with a Melzi board? Benby plexer - Sanguino(lolu)
Really? The shop is not active on Etsy anymore. Benby plexer - For Sale
Looks like it was probably just homing position and bed size mismatch. Tweaked the endstop location for the x axis and looks like it's printing the whole tray fine. Benby plexer - Slic3r
If you're printing faberdashery filament then I think 205 is a bit too hot. Benby plexer - General
Awesome thanks for the reply I figured it must have not been required as it wasn't mentioned in the build instructions at all and I got one with each printer kit. Benby plexer - Reprappers
Using Slic3r 0.9.9 and slicing the tray1.stl provided by RepRap Pro Not a great picture but if you take a look at where I've circled it in red you may be able to see what the problem is at this point it's supposed to be do the first layer for a leg part but it ends up dumping a load of plastic in that one spot it's as if it's at the limit of the machine but there is still build plate to the righby plexer - Slic3r
Are you talking about slic3r storing the profiles for infill, machine settings and things like that? If so perhaps you could setup shortcuts to the commandline version and use that instead? Or similar to this ??? Benby plexer - Slic3r
I found the faberdashery filament printed great on just an acetone cleaned glass bed but other pla we bought just wouldn't stick until I sprayed the bed with hair spray and everything sticks great. Benby plexer - General
I've built 2 mendels from RepRapPro bought in their christmas offer and I now have 2 of these bits No idea what it is. Benby plexer - Reprappers
I've had my mendel stop mid print most recently the other day but what I touched was the usb cable to the melzi electronics. Benby plexer - General
If your printing with the fabedashery supplied pla I would also say 200 is too hot, 180-185 is good for that stuff. Benby plexer - General Mendel Topics
Long needle nose pliers for clearing the hamging dross from the nozzle. Hair spray definately seems to help troublesome filament stick, just spray it on the bed and heat it up. Benby plexer - General
Marcosscriven when printing multi colours it uses multiple heads and builds up a sacrificial box to purge the heads in. PierreB when building the heated beds I use a 9v pp3 battery to test it this shows if you have the led the right way as the reprappro instructions aren't as clear on this step as they could be, nice build btw. Benby plexer - General
The size has changed slightly with a bit less in one dimension due to the multiple heads but yes they are 1.75mm filament. Benby plexer - General Mendel Topics
