Yep, that was me :-) We don't send out instructions with the kits. The instructions are all online so that we can edit easily if necessary. We are currently looking into version tracking for our different batches of kits so that when improvements are implemented in the kits and someone has an older version, they will be able to get the correct instructions for them. Hi, I use Faberdashery PLA - Arctic white and I set my bed temp to 65 although normally set it running when the top of the bed temp is above 52 degrees (measured using an IR thermometer) as I can't be bothered to wait too long before going to work or bed! I have read that using different colours may require adjustments to the temp. Make sure your bed in clean - before every print wipe over witby SallyRepRap - Printing
My RepRap shares "the geek room" in my house with a lot of Games Workshop figurines which my partner paints. Currently he reckons we could print scenery and vehicles - tanks for example. Sallyby SallyRepRap - General

When my Dad, Ed Sells and Vik Olliver got the very first replicated RepRap printing (Darwin) they discovered that the child's z belt was too long and so it came off the pulleys. But they also discovered that if they held the shaft of a screwdriver against it, it would work fine. So Vik designed a belt tensioner using Art of Illusion on the spot, they printed it on the child machine, using the scrby SallyRepRap - General
