... when used with FDM you can't work with the plastic versions For the same reason i mentioned luer lock adapters made from steel or fixing nuts on a brass-tube. Another interesting source are the nozzles from micro-plasma-welding - they're made from copper, have a common thread and inner diameters down to 0.1mm ... the drawbacks could be the price for single counts or the high thermal mass .by VDX - Mechanics
Hi Lawrence, ... for designing and milling complex and high precision parts for micro- and nano-mechanics (accuracies down to 10 nanometers ) i used Lightwave. Actually you have a good entry with Truespace ( ) - it's free and capable of much more than 'simply constructing' Microsoft purchased Calligari and give Truespace away for free but it's only short time until they shut it completely dby VDX - Plastic Extruder Working Group

... i tried with high viscous fluids (nearly like tooth paste) and even thinner needles (until 0.1mm outer- and 0.06mm inner diameter). I had to cut the needles complete down and still had some issues with viscosity. As friction is even more a problem with molten plastics you should try with thicker needles cut short. For adapting the needles you have to use Luer-Lock-adapters from steel or yoby VDX - Mechanics

Hi Eric, i downloaded Caligaris Truespace 7.6 from here: It's free now and fully capable of really sophisticated 3D-construction, -artwork, physics and others - and it imports/exports different 3D-formats including STL. Since the site is intended for shutdown soon, you should download the install-files, the manual and the tutorial videos - it's real worthy I have it installed and running -by VDX - RepRap Host
