Quoteflyway97 to Chri: i have reply you, thank you. to karabas : to w3drk : we change uC oscillator because it will be better for the lan, and not relate to lockup issues. the lockup issues maybe come from sd card problem. we have found MKS Sbase need better sd card then Mega2560's board. Did you already fix it in your newest version? V1.4 ?by karabas - Controllers
Quotethejollygrimreaper yeah ... not exactly a speed daemon, 500mm/min only equates to 8.3mm/sec which in printing terms isn't exactly what i would call fast personally i'm running between 60mm/sec and 90mm/sec and others run a lot faster the only reason that hotend "works" is simply down to the ptfe tubing inside the stainless tube and you'll be getting a huge meltzone so i wouldn't expect retby karabas - General
QuoteFrans@France What would be the benefit of a hotend without heatsink? Size (vertical) and simplicity.Unexpensive. F.e. for deltas such as Atom-2 it does matter.by karabas - General

QuoteFloyd The blower is cooling the threads of the insert just like a tiny heatsink. Agree.by karabas - General
QuoteFloyd Did no one else notice the huge blower pointed at the threaded part of the hot end? I dont like how its mounted. The heater cartridge is right near the mounting point soaking heat into the printer and the nozzle. Not really the best idea but if it works then good job. Blower is important. You mean blower cools heater cartridge? Or transferes heat to unwanted places?by karabas - General
Quotethe_digital_dentist My printer has some cables over 2m long- no problems at all. IRIC, I used 20 gauge wires for the motor leads. Whenever you run relatively high current wires, especially motor wires where the currents are pulsing, the wires should be twisted to reduce interference to small signal wires (such as thermistor leads). Twist the thermistor lead and heater wires, too. The twiby karabas - General
For big deltas it is reasonable to mount extruder closer to hotend. But what is the stepper wire max length for regular stepstick or 8825? Will it work on 1-1.5 meter wires?by karabas - General
Quoteflyway97 thanks w3drk and other friends, we have change the Crystal, replace CSTCE25M0V53-R0 with QRA26B25.0000MFT2C2F, replace CSTCE12M0V53-R0 with QRA26B12.0000MFT2C2F to fix the Ethernet bug, now we change it by manual and will fix the problem on next version. Quotethe_digital_dentist The QUBD extruders are similar, and so are the extruders on the old Makerbots. Cannot be jammed? Hmmmm. As I recall, the QUBD and the Makerbot extruders were jammed most of the time. Disagree, they are not ever similar. Massive solid heatsink. Long nonheated part of barrel. Keypoint of my design is short nonheated upper part of barrel. Possible jamming zone is abby karabas - General
Quotejinx but where it's bolted to the frame doesn't that make rudimentary heatsink?. ??? Heated block is bolted not barrel.by karabas - General
I always wonder why nobody use stratasys-like hotends. They are without heatsink. So this is my one. Simple, fast and effective. 400-500mm/min into air extruding ABS and PLA. It virtually cannot be jammed. Thе barrel ( from old chineese hotend) is with PTFE tube inside. The tube can be inserted only from downside.by karabas - General
I look into MKS TFT display PDF. Connection to RAMPS is described. But how to config Marlin?? As I understand I need to define serial port number corresponding to RAMPS Aux1 pins. But what are they and where to config? Or maybe other way?by karabas - Controllers
Quotefredchan How you change the Marlin ? what OLED are you using ? 0.96 / 1.3" 1306 or 1106 driver ? No need to change Marlin ( except Configuration.h and maybe pins.h). Oled 1306 is supported ( arduino pins 20,21)by karabas - Controllers
Similar behaviouring on our big deltas ( RichCattell's marlin) Sometimes not always ( more often when homing after print finish ) it goes up stuttering.by karabas - Firmware - mainstream and related support
How the hell do you guys use it? I compiled successfully 1306 on marlin kimbra, marlin RC and even repetier 0.92! But it overloads arduino! 2560+ramps1.4 When I print the printer is stuttering. Cartesian printer. When I print the same gcode with non grafic rrd smart controller all is good.( yes I reprogrammed arduino every time) What I need to do?by karabas - Controllers
I tried oled i2c display 128x64 (U8GLIB_SSD1306_I2C) for cartesian printer ( arduino mega2560 + RAMPS1.4) and printing is stuttering on small gear like models that causes small blobs. I tried last MarlinKimbra, last Marlin RC, last Repetier 0.92 with the same result. I have heard that it's possible I2C conflict with EEPROM but I disabled EEPROM in Configuration.h When I print the same gcodeby karabas - Developers

AZSMZ is claimed to work with original smoothie but no info about how to connect. Quoteo_lampe Quotekarabas BTW is there easy way to connect AZSMZ grafic display to SBase? AFAIK the TFT28 has a dedicated firmware flashed to work with SBASE. You'd have to check the AZSMZ display for compatibility or write your own display firmware to handle the datastream of the SBASE. -Olafby karabas - Controllers

I need to say - by design Mendel90 is not very suited for hot air transferring inside. Or you need to make several inserts for hot air. I think back air temp is slightly less than front where hot air inserts.by karabas - Mendel90
